Allright, sounds like a good plan, but I'm gonna work some of my own magic and try this smoke bomb thing again. (PM sent)

Round 3
- Turn 1: go through the door at the top left of the room we are in (D19 or DP's map)
- Turn 2: Enter through the door (D21) at the top of the room and into "room M". We assume there will be a battle to ensue.
- Turn 3: After winning the battle with the goon we would like to search the room please. Scratch that, let's wait until the battle is over and then we'll decide what to do.
- Turn 4: ???

Thank you.

Thank you.

do we still have to search the room if I was told that I looked in the room and saw the goon and nothing else?

Well, I'm assuming that would depend on your special ability. Does your special sneaking ability find "searchable" objects in rooms or does it just give you a preview of the the general stuff like goons, doors, etc. ??

If you have been told your special ability does find items in the room then I will gladly remove the search order, what do you think?

Yes, I can explore the room for items and weapons. And this one is clear, except for the goon.

"There's a goon in there."

That goddamned near gave Rodimus Prime a heart attack. Spinning, he saw the chick in black standing there. How the **** did she just disappear and re-appear like that?

"But nothing else. Should we just skip the room, or go in to kill the goon?" she asks.

"Let's kill him. One less goon to worry about," the sort-of-leader-bombs-guy said walking to the door while taking out another smoke bomb out of the pouch around his waist.

Before any of us could say anything, a deafening BANG! shook the room. As the smoke dissipated, the bombs guy, along with the CIA agent, rushed in.

"Thought you learnt your lesson not to rush in first!" Rodimus Prime shouted after them.

But Rodimus Prime quickly found out why.

"Wait! Don't shoot. Just keep the gun trained on him," the CIA agent said.

Walking into the smoky room, Rodimus Prime saw the CIA agent draw out a sinister-looking surgical knife.

**** that. Definitely **** that.

Rodimus Prime turned and walked right back into the previous room and contented himself with just hearing the begging and crying of the sorry sonofabitch in the room.

As Rodimus Prime was leaning against the wall between the two doors leading into the room, the whimpering suddenly stopped. Risking a peek, a revulsion went through Rodimus Prime's body as he saw the bloody mass that used to be the goon.

"So... there's gold in the next room, plus a caporegime," the CIA agent said to the bombs guy who is nodding. "Guess the guy we killed a few rooms back was also a caporegime. This poor guy is just a lowly goon. Look at his gun - it's no Thompson."

"Yeah," the bombs guy agreed. He does not seem one bit revolted by what happened. Nor was any of the other assassins standing around the body with unusual silence. Unusual, except for the mute gunslinger, anyway.

***

A smoke bomb was tossed and stunned the goon. There was no battle, since the goon is already at 1 HP, and he was tortured by Queen of Spades, which revealed that the next room (to the right of the room we are in) contains gold and a caporegime.

well lets move on to the next room and get our goods and level up. Of course before we leave some one take that damn gun.

excellent job everyone.
we still have to explore the room to get the gun, i think it's worth it
it makes sense QoS takes it, as Moyank suggested, so her attack comes up

then next move is a given i guess.
it's probably worth doing the smoke-bomb/torturing in room N again if possible.

Ah, that sneaking power is rad! And yeah, torturing is fun, if a bit messy. *takes off her bloody apron*

I'll see if I can work it on the capo. Cool, I'll take the gun. Thanks.

when we find the bad guys we are hunting I have a little treat to boost their power.

Okay, so just for clarification, do we have to search to get the gun or can QOS just say she wants to pick up the gun? I don't remember how we did it last time and I started this post before I looked back.

If we can just pick it up then that will save us a turn. Is everyone in agreement that we use a smoke bomb and go on into the next room so we can level up and get some gold?

I'll just put my cards on the table in terms of the smoke bomb thing. Using one stuns the enemy and gives us the first attack. I've been using them lately in the hopes that we can kill goons without taking damage and level up easier. This will save our medical supplies, keep us in good health, and hopefully help us get a jump on the baddies. I do have a limited supply, so I don't want to use them all, but I'm thinking that we might find more somewhere in the mansion just like we did with the medical supplies.

Edit:
Okay, looking back we do have to explore to pick up the gun, what do you all think? It was a level one goon since it only had 1 hit point. How powerful do we think his gun is? Ravenvii, do all guns add to our current attack power, or is it possible a gun might do less damage then we can already do because of our level?

I also looked back and the goon we fought in the medical bay did 6 points of damage. If the goon in the next room is equal in power to him then we know what we are up against.

Also, if I'm reading the rules correctly then we could go up two levels in the next room, one level for killing the goon and a second level for discovering the treasure. I think two levels is worth using another smoke bomb unless someone else has a special ability that could prove more valuable in this situation. What does everyone think?

all considered, i think we should skip exploring M for now but instead attack and explore N
this way we end our turn Two levels up (goon and treasure) and with a better gun.
the gun in M appears to be a small one probably a +1
if the guy in the infirmary inflicted 5 damages, it must have been a level 2 goon (+3 damage from the gun). the goon in N is probably the same or maybe even better. whether to use the smoke bombs depends on how many you have left : if only a couple maybe it's better save them for the bigger goons.
i would still use QoS talents on the. capo for info though, it. ould be valuable one

I agree - let's skip M and head right for N. I'll torture the capo so we get info, treasure, and the gun.

Thanks for the input everyone. I will elect to use another smoke bomb to keep our party strong and avoid having to use DP's medical supplies. (PM sent)

Round 3
- Turn 1: go through the door at the top left of the room we are in (D19 or DP's map)
- Turn 2: Enter through the door (D21) at the top of the room and into "room M". We assume there will be a battle to ensue.
- Turn 3: Go into the next room (room N) through the door on the right side of the room (D24).
- Turn 4: ???

I thought Turn 4 would be searching/engaging room N? mscriv, feel free to take our thoughts and extrapolate so we can keep this moving.

Turn 4: Explore the room and pick up the gun / treasure.

If the gun is better than what I currently have, Ill this one to someone else and pick it up. Raven, does it take a separate turn to give away my current gun or can it all be done in the exploring move?
