Okay then...

Round 3
- Turn 1: go through the door at the top left of the room we are in (D19 or DP's map)
- Turn 2: ???
- Turn 3: ???
- Turn 4: ???

If we see the stairs lets head up them.

Or do we need to get more weapons before we go get the Don. Is it like the LEgend of Zelda?

well, as we wait we can get more powerful if we find stuff/kill goons, but the don also accumulates more (or more powerful) goons.

from the burnt map in post #75, some stairs seem to be there (from room D/L), but it's just a guess that they lead upstairs. also, we don't know if the stairs are accessed from L, D or both.

it would make sense they go up, because in the original rules the goons could only enter from the back porch, so they would need a quick way to get upstairs to help the don, or they would be useless in the end-game. the rules were changed so the goons can also enter from the from now, but i don't think raven would modify the map after the game has started.

will find out soon enough.

Damn it, what a waste.

mscriv followed the others through the another door in the room. There's nothing here.

Damn it, I need to be more careful tossing those bombs into random rooms.

As mscriv stepped through the door, he noted that the hallway they were just in extends to his left. The room is an empty room with two doors to his right, and a nook of some sort around the corner. The wall opposite and to the left of mscriv is sloped. Stairs on the other side, it looks like.

"Looks like this one leads to a larger room," the woman in black remarked looking around the corner.

So there's three doors.

sorry, can't give you the pretty map right now 'cause I am on the phone, but it looks like the stairs to go up are only accessible from D using the d20 door (not signed on the map yet.

we can:
- explore L
- go north to M (which could possibly be divided into two smaller rooms), if we go north through either door (d21 or d22)
- go east to N (through d23)
- go south to F (i assume there is a door (d13) between the room we are now [L] and the corridor [F]), then into D and up the stairs.

the first question to answer is: is there likely anything of value hidden in L (under the stairs maybe?) or would we just waste a move by exploring this room?

I like that plan. This drug dealer fully supprts this idea.

Hm.

A number of possibilities exist: I could....

1) Lean over the elegantly carved balcony of the landing and peer down to see what is happening......or,

2) Instead, inspect the grainy images of the serried banks of CCTV....or,

3) Send out gleaming drones on little castors to find out what is happening and who is where (as for, why they are there, I already know the answer to that).....or,

4) Read about it. Here.

but which of the options do you want to do first? which direction you want to go? we have 3 more moves in this turn

I am partial to go to M and explore there.

moyank, can you swing around M and/or N an look around?

and here is the updated map. just remember the official maps are the ones ravenvii is giving out. these are just my guesses at the layout, so there are likely mistakes.

Standing in the middle of the room, Don't panic idly counted his fellow assassins.

One... two... wait a minute.

"Hey, where's that sneaky chick?" asks the drug dealer before Don't panic could voice the very same question.

No one has an answer.

Sure thing. Go ahead and head on in and take it from the goon. Ill wait here with everyone else. ;)

On a serious note, at what point would it be worth it to go and fight the goon? If the gun provides more APs to whoever picks it up than what we will collectively lose in HP?

Don't we also level up after we win a battle? This will have to be a team decision...so all in favor of going in and getting the guy say AYE and those who want to move on - say NAYE. :D

i think it's a no brainer to go into M.
as far as who gets the gun, if it's better then the one Koo has, he should switch because he gets the double bonus (can't use two), and someone else gets the tommy gun.
if it's equal or smaller, it should be equally effective in anyone else's hands, so we should just random.org it.

and let's try to get the guy alive, so QoS can, erm, 'seduce' him....
