Still not working for me with Xcode 3. I can't find Devices any where in the Organizer. Do I need to create a new project in xcode or what?
After you plug in your ipad, it will appear on the left hand side of the screen. Google this, there are full instructions.
You will have to start the download again from the link. Resuming the download won't work.sorry to bump this thread but i hope someone here might be able to help me out.
downloading the file needed and mid-download, i lost my internet connection.
after i was able to get connection again, the file will not download.
i keep clicking on "resume download" but nothing happens.
i keep getting the message: no permission to read file
help?
I've never developed anything, and I've been a registered developer for years. Can you get in trouble from apple if you fill out this developer registration saying your a developer and you never bother doing anything?

if it is in developer mode can I just update to the next firmware when it's available and it will go back to being a normal iPad or do I have to restore first?
Until you restore it it will stay in development mode (which isn't necessarily a bad thing).
Someone please help me! I went to Window-> Organizer but all I see is this window. No devices. iPad is already plugged in. What am I doing wrong? WTF? Just a simple thing I can't get it.![]()
I download xcode last night and got the swipe gestures enabled. The xcode took at lot more than 4.5 gb of space on my Mac hard drive. More like 15gb. Can I delete xcode without any issues to the swiping gestures. I won't be using xcode for anything else. Thanks.

If you already have XCode 3 installed, you will have to upgrade to 3.26. Go here:Update your XCode version and you have to be on Snow Leopard.
