Can't wait for the app.

But like someone stated above, it would make it more appealing if it had a unique name only this app would be associated with. But I like eNote Taker.

Love everything I'm seeing and can't wait to download it

My only complaint - HATE HATE the name. Doesn't stand out and I have to imagine when searching in the store - other similar titles will show up.

Hope the icon looks great though. I secretly judge all my apps by their icons.

All seriousness though, really looking forward to this app

As do I. I heard about UPAD, was going to buy, then looked at the awful icon, and didn't buy.

I like the look of this icon. Can't wait for it to be released. Hopefully by the time my stylus arrives (Wednesday)!

Thanks for the support. I agree that the name is a little boring, just couldn't think of a better name. :p

I hope so too!

Does the app have a search feature to search the text of PDF files ( or even better to search through the text of all PDF files at once)?

The current focus is to create the best possible handwriting experience on iPad, so there is no such feature in eNote Taker at the moment. If the demand is high, I will consider adding the feature. ;)

I love the simple interface to this app, however: it needs (an optional) auto-advance & auto-carriage return when zoomed in. If you can add this feature I will definitely buy the app! Otherwise I will continue using Notes Plus.

Also: automatic Dropbox sync would be great.

Dropbox sync is planned for future release. I have been thinking a lot about the auto-advance feature even before eNote Taker is being developed. I have tried that feature in a few handwriting apps and I think it is a little bit hard to use and complicated. I have to plan it carefully so that it doesn't complicate the app. In the meantime, you can use the tap and hold zooming feature like you see from the second demo. Thanks for the suggestion!

+1 on autoadvance and return when zoomed in. :D

Thanks for the reply. If it helps, I think Notes Plus has really nailed this feature, so if you need something to take "inspiration" from...

Thanks for the advice. I will try my best to make eNote Taker as good, if not better. ;)

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8G4 Safari/6533.18.5)

I think it is far more important to get out a stable app with the basic features than to try and include everything in the first release.

Auto return can be a bonus or a detriment depending on how it is implemented. I agree that Notes + could be a good point of reference. My only issue with that app is that I tend to unintentionaly hit the return key with my palm. One possible solution would be to give the user the option of putting these controls on the lefthand side rather than the right.

Thanks for the great suggestions! It is quite hard to change the name at this stage, I am sorry. :(

yeah. you'd probably have to start the review process again... But I am speaking out of my butt here, because I'm not a dev, so I honestly have no idea... haha

It's NoteTooLate

fantastic!!! haha. Nice list you compiled also. You seem quite quick with puns.

my favs are noteworthy and takenote.

Would there be a synced audio recording feature down the road? A very few apps have this but none have really nailed this feature. As a programmer myself, I can see this being quite complex and challenging (but not impossible). If this could be implemented, I wouldn't mind spending $10+.
