Epic is using the galaxy store.

Turns out, all galaxy store does is to see if the app crashes. https://seller.samsungapps.com/guidePopup.as?numcid=0202010000&localeLanguage=en

If a developer submits malware, Samsung isn't going to protect against that during app revew AND Samsung takes 30%.

LOL.
I went looking for the terms and Conditions on Galaxy Store too, and yes 30% is the standard, but Samsung is also open for individual revenue sharing schemes (which Apple mainly is not). SO.. Galaxy Store in this regard is probably good for Epic, but not those who Epic are championing, i.e. the small independent developer who won't likely get a bespoke cut of the cake.
I'm not surprised that Epic is willing to throw out their said principles if they can jab at Apple.

Yep. Apple is even charging only 15% for small ones now, maybe to nullify Epic's stance. Not that I agree with that really; I liked how nothing seemed to depend on the size of the developer.

Epic takes a little jab at the original Apple logo with rainbow colors, and a bite out of the neck, then tops it off with the Apple Garamond typeface.

Not a good look.
Does Apple have their own Garamond? I know Adobe does.

Can a bribe be any more obvious? Besides, freeing from what? There seems to be a legal issue, not a political one. Hopefully people who receive these will reflect on the absurdity of this.

Not to mention they chose a jacket vendor named Alpha, two letters away from Apple. They’re such a bunch of juvenile d-bags. Keep digging, Epic. Keep digging.

Its not alpha, it’s Alpha Industries, they designed the classic MA-1 bomber jacket (which is what they have embroidered in the photo), it’s a classic piece that everyone else clones and they have been manufacturing them since the 50’s.

That’s great. And the word still is close to Apple.

“Alpha” instead of “Apple,” rainbow llama with a bite out of it instead of rainbow Apple with a bite out of it, similar font to Garamond... juvenile d-bags.

Talk about a massive reach.

They chose an iconic American brand, the fact that they start with the same letter is just 100% coincidence and you’re getting your panties in a bunch and acting like it’s some sleight against Apple.

Guys, I know this is an Apple forum so it's quite obvious we all like Apple products. but can we please start toning down the Apple cult attitude? I mean, there's always been plenty fanboys here as it comes with the territory as we share similar opinions on Apple, but reading the reactions lately, it's becoming creepier and creepier. It's a company peeps, a commercial company that's in the business of making money by selling consumer electronics. It's not a religion. If you feel it is, please seek help.

It’s just the icing on the cake, my dear. And if your starting premise isn’t that everything about that box is an intended sleight against Apple and should be interpreted as such, you have very rigid panties.

Damn, I would love that, I have a wonky table I could stuff the Samsung Tablet under to level it out.
