amen

you know they will just copy zephyr from cydia at some point ;)
Bit steep, though, for a few gestures. I guess if you have a home button acting up it's invaluable though.

And yeah, that's where notifications, wallpapers and folders came from. Themes are next I suppose.

I don't see them adding themes because Apple isn't really about choice and customization.

I have from the start of the rumor been a tad disappointed about the screen size. I thought it would be too long and not wide enough. I thought I'd maybe even buy another phone (I'm far from must having apple products). It has been troubling me, until I got an epiphany! It is the exact same screen size as my current phone, which I love the screen. How could I bee so stupid I thought.

I have the SonyEricsson Xperia Play, which has a 4 inch 16:9 format screen. I love this screen size, I just didn't realize that the iPhone was changing to this! It feels wide, it feels long, it feels great, I can reach the whole screen with my thumb without looking dumb.

Here is my phone next to a picture of the render, with aprox size match. (its not exact, did it in photoshop over teamviewer from work to home)

Funny thing, I was playing with my son's Xperia play and notice that it is the same screen size as the rumored iPhone. Thought of posting it here. Guess you beat me to it.

Apple has made it a point in their design to value obviousness above all else. A gesture is not obvious.

Turning on bluetooth, wifi, moving icons, attaching a photo to email, etc. etc. None of those are obvious features. In fact when you load a fresh version of iOS onto your system you are still greeted with the message telling you you can rearrange icons. I get where you are coming from, but gestures would do wonders. Hell, make a commercial using the feature (in place of the 2138912739817238921 Siri ads). Pretty much your entire user-base is bound to see it.

I would suspect "obviousness" is not at all the reason here. I say it is screen size and Apple has decided that the iPhone's screen is just too small.
