I have to say, my class of (mostly American) students this term have proven to have good taste in coffee (as well as quite good and very motivated academically). They took my advice and have started patronizing our local chain Boreal rather than Starbucks which have similar prices.

My newest coffee from Guatemala and Nicaragua is such a pleasure every day.
Among the absolute best coffee I’ve tasted.

Was visiting a friend a while ago who served Jamaican Blue Mountain.
The worlds most expensive coffee beans. Haven’t tasted it before.
Not bad for the money, is an understatement 😉

Those parts (South & Middle America & the Caribbean) of the world’s coffee is highly preferred by me.

Same here/ The beans out of Central America, Mexico and the South are usually exceptional. I've found very few that weren't to my taste. As for Jamaican Blue Mountain, that is probably my favourite from the Caribbean. It's been yeasr since I last had any, as almost no-one carries it anymore. I first ran across it back in about 1978 or 9, when I was in South Africa. Even then it was running $30/lb. I think the last place I managed to buy some was from the now defunct Beanery chain of coffee sellers when I was living in Kentucky. It was about $40 or better a pound then. I do have to say, though, that I've never minded the price, too much. It really is an exceptional coffee!

While I quite like Jamaica Blue Mountain, I must admit that I have never been bowled over by it.
