I wouldn’t be so pessimistic. I live in a relatively small city 300 km up north of Helsinki and I always got my Apple deliveries on the expected day.

In my experience I never received my Apple product the day that was supposes to receive it. Always the next working day that with Apple product is the next Monday

Just received a SMS from DHL 🎉

That's very early !

Usually here the DHL Express "tombola" starts in the late afternoon (ship from a warehouse in the Netherlands, drive the package to Belgium, drive back to Amsterdam and deliver it late afternoon the next day ... this warehouse is actually 1+ hour from my home).

I order a 12 pro 128 Gb blue with a delivery address in Switzerland. Apple still mention a delivery date on the 23.10. but remain in "Preparation for Shipping", I sign up at DHL On Demand Delivery but I have no shipment information. I know that in Switzerland they often use TNT for the logisitic.
TNT is only used for the "Standardversand" in Switzerland, since those shipments are sent directly from China. "Standardversand" is very common among the Macs. "Expressversand" is when they ship it from the warehouses in Europe (Prague and Milan). Normally they ship it with DHL, since DHL offers more services (delivery to a service point, etc.).

OK, vielen Dank für die Erklärung ;)
It's true I got my Apple Watch directly from China via TNT and it was a "Standardversand".

🎉

its getting real :)

Hey,

My iPhone order is currently processing, it was scheduled for delivery this Friday but for some reason it got updated to the 28th. Have any of you had this issue? I'm buying it from Apple.com/nl and am in The Netherlands, my card didn't even get charged yet for the phone, just for the accessories that arrived already from DHL 🙃

It unfortunately happened to someone else here .

I can imagine a huge pile of packages that all look the same, going all over Europe, and being scanned one after the other before they get on the truck to the airport, and once they're scanned, BING! it triggers all the notifications.... 🤪

That is a shame, you can try to get in touch with Apple but they probably won't be able to change it. Do you know when you ordered it? The webshop went down about 14:06 or something like that. I think this messed up their stock keeping. Very un-Apple like for something like this to happen.

I also ordered the second the Apple Store was up last Friday. The Apple Store still says that delivery will be tomorrow, though I haven't received anything yet. Let's keep the fingers crossed that I'll receive some text message soon ;-)
