Mine also changed to "Preparing for shipment" on Friday (the one before yours), and I could already see the tracking info thanks to UPS My Choice on Sunday evening. I think it changed to Shipped on Wednesday or so... Just copy your order number and use it for "Track by Reference Number"at UPS, DHL Express and Fedex.
Damn, no luck here with my Order Number and any of these shipping services. Once it shipped on Wednesday, when did you have yours? These things either ship from a local place or Asia, so could be days or weeks for me still ?
My MacBook needed 3 days from getting a tracking number to holding it in my hands (Tuesday to Friday) prepare to ship was a couple days earlier I think (maybe the previous Friday)

That's the thing, it didn't ship on Wednesday, that's when Apple said it was shipped. Thanks to UPS's My Choice, I saw the tracking number already on Sunday, and UPS had my Mac on Monday. Then it was in Shanghai for two days and was supposed to fly out on Wed/Thu, but the plane that was supposed to carry our Macs had a mechanical failure during the maintenance, which resulted in an additional day of delay. So in the end I got it on Friday.
Got my 14" yesterday, originally had estimates for betwixt the 4th and the 8th. So, I got it two days before the most optimistic estimate. In Norway.
Only had time for booting the OS yesterday, but so far I enjoy it compared to the 13". It feels heftier. Keyboard feels different and better. Love the small increase in screen and the screen itself with that buttery smooth 120hz.

Mine just went to preparing to ship! Original delivery date was 17/11-24/11 and I have the base 16” with 1TB SSD en US keyboard layout. Does anyone from The Netherlands know with which courier it will be shipped?
The status just changed to shipped with an estimated date of Nov 8 (next monday)! That would be two days earlier than the original earliest estimate.
This is actually a perfect timing since I will need to take a short trip next week and I can test the machine on the road.

My BTO 14" went from Preparing to Ship (since sometime on the weekend, I think) to shipped this morning (via UPS from Shanghai to Germany).
Original estimate: 9 Nov - 16 Nov
Updated estimate after shipping: 8 Nov.
The order was placed roughly half a day after the Keynote.

If i'm not mistaken, my Macbook (last year) was shipped by UPS.
edit: ah question was already answered. So yes, UPS.
We seem to have similar schedules except my original estimate was Nov 10-17. I wonder if you will get yours before the 8th or if mine will be late.
I also ordered about 12 hours after the event.My 16 with M1 Pro, 32GB and 1TB (us qwerty) just shipped. Original estimate was 17-24 November.
Delivery is scheduled for the 10th.

I also have the same window for the same config but with a different keyboard. Ordered on 10.20. and the money was reserved right after the order on my bank account. Today the Apple Store reserved the same amount again on my account so I don't know what's been happening.
Been charged (reserved) twice and the order is still processing. Gonna call Apple and my bank tomorrow.

Hello! Same delivery window for a 16" base model silver color with 32GB of RAM. I have ordered it on 23rd October but I do hope that something will move faster ASAP. Shipping to Italy.
My 16" M1 Max / 32GB to the Netherlands shipped from Shanghai, and just cleared customs this morning. Scheduled for next Monday
Just came back to say, I am really loving this Mac. I've not had this feeling of enjoying the current macOS version and hardware for quite some time. I've had around 10 different MacBook Pros models since 2006 now, and this is one of the nicest. It'll be worth the wait for those of you still waiting
I still haven't heard my fans go off, despite running 2x5K LG Ultrafine displays and compiling large OSS projects. I can't imagine what the situation might be like in a few years when they refine their desktop SoC architecture even further.
