Then we can expect similar update for ours. But this kills any hopes to get them this week.
It seems so, sadly. And for me it will take an additional day to move it to Finland and then possibly another day to deliver it from the capital region to where I live.
But I'm sure it's worth the wait. :)

Nope. But mine has left Incheon, so it could be on its way to Europe at least.
How are you not tracking your flights and watching the CGN webcam? :D

In case you didn’t see it in the first tranche, a UPS plane at Incheon was damaged during unloading, and presumably that plane has to be repaired and taken out of service. They might still be playing catch-up as a result, though that was now at least a week ago.

If it’s not in Cologne by Thursday night, you’re most likely getting it on Monday. There are Friday early morning flights out to lots of European cities, for a Friday delivery.

You can check Star Air’s schedule out of CGN to find out the arrival at your closest cargo airport (if your Mac is being sent by UPS).

Just a quick question for those in Europe - how accurate is the delivery window Apple provides? I finally am happy with the config I ordered, but my back and forth means my delivery date is now between the 7th and 15th of December. I'm in Switzerland and will be traveling from the 18th for three weeks, and I really hope that it won't be delayed because I'm a bit worried I will miss it. Is the delivery window pretty accurate?

Monday was the original estimate after the order was shipped but after the customs clearance it changed to the "Check back later" message. I'm guessing it will be updated once the cargo reaches Cologne and they can provide a realistic projection of delivery time to Finland.

My very first date range was 29.10-02.11, ordered 30seconds after store was online. It arrived 29.10 despite a day delay for customs inspection, and a day delay due to mechanical fault. UPS shifted to 27.10 at one point, then 28.10, but eventually 29.10 due to the 2 days of delays. Most of us with the same ranges received it in the range, even with 01.11 being a holiday in Cologne/parts of Germany.

Switzerland ships with TNT I believe, but I’d be fairly certain you’ll get yours in that range. Quite a few also got shifted up, I presume the same for you if orders get cancelled between now and your production run. There have been some cases of delays though, so there’s no guarantees in the current chip climate.

If it’s not produced or preparing to ship at least a week before you leave, you could cancel the order.

Thanks so much, this is great info! Especially the advice in the last sentence - I will keep an eye out about the preparing to ship and if it's not ready before I leave I will probably cancel and just reorder so I can have it when I get back. Hope to get it before I leave, though, because it will be super helpful during my trip.

Actually, original UPS estimate was Friday, but for very short time (this is why Apple has it at Friday). Changed to Monday during first two hours. But I managed to see original Friday estimate on UPS site, which set my hopes high :(

Yeah, you're closer to the hub. For me there's always at least one extra day so that's why your original estimate was before the weekend.

The shipping to Switzerland is handled by TNT/Fedex and seems to be quite efficient. I ordered on launch day and my delivery window was 3-5 Nov. Package arrived on the 27th already so quite fast. TNT flies daily direct from Shanghai to Liege so no stops on the way (apart from a short stopover in Novosibirsk - 3 to 5 hours).
So if production is keeping up in Shanghai then you should get it earlier.

Yep, TNT/Fedex has hub in Novosibirsk, and DHL in Krasnoyarsk, which makes flights from China to Europe to be a bit better balanced for them, in terms of a flight legs.

I feel like status update we got yesterday is just automatic stuff they put after they lost track of the parcel for certain amount of hours. It certainly looks like "we don't know where it is". Especially, since that update nothing has happened. I kinda almost sure that this evening we will get yet another update of the same kind :)

Why dont they add airtags or rfid onto it? Could save money here.

That's good to hear! I really hope there will be no production problems and it will arrive even earlier than the expected date. My destination over the end of the year holidays requires a quarantine period, and it will be nice to have my new MacBook Pro with me.

I just noticed that the delivery times for the 16" models have all been brought back to 30th nov -7th dec. Previously they sat somewhere around mid December. (That is for the German store)
Hopefully that means that our orders might arrive sooner than previously anticipated.

This sounds good for you! I hope that things will change on Italian Store, as well as on my order (delivery window 30/11-7/12).

So, I checked with locals, my parcel(from “lost pallet”) is not here , so it is really missed in action somewhere in Asia :(

This is expected. A lot of people put preorders just in case, but then grab in local store. Then they cancel. Some people also buy multiple, to compare and return one. They form local supply. Which is then used by first group. This shrinks the queue.
In addition, long delay times were for M1 max laptops.but maybe due to larger demand on those, they shifted production from M1 pro laptops.
