Someone here with expected delivery date 17.11. to 24.11. whose order has already fallen on "Will be prepared for shipping"?
I had 17.11-24.11 delivery date, but mine will be delivered this Thursday already! I got the shipping confirmation email last Thursday. Mine is a 16" base model with 1TB SSD and US keyboard layout and I live in The Netherlands.

I'm simply blown away by the quality of this machine. To anyone still waiting: it will be worth it.

The speakers are unlike anything else I've ever heard on a laptop. I've been listening to music non-stop for over an hour now while setting things up. The sound is actually enjoyable. Not tinny, not abrasive, not sharp. And if you turn the volume up and leave the laptop on a table, it nicely fills the room. I'd compare it to a good Bluetooth speaker.

Software issues are another thing and there are various little issues in Monterey giving an unpolished feel. Thankfully I haven't ran into any memory leaks yet. Let's hope there will be a bugfix update soon.

The notch does not bother me at all. I can see it in my peripheral vision but you kind of notice it only when you are thinking about it being there.

I diverted to the ups access point. As today I have only 1 hour window in 10-hours meetings marathon. So, hopefully I will be able to pick it.

I was in the Nov 17-24 group but today mine went to shipped with a delivery date of Nov 15. It seems it's not from China directly because it's coming from Eindhoven with DHL. Wonder why it takes a week to get it delivered from there to Budapest, Hungary. It should take a day via plane so perhaps it will be on hold for a couple of days or I got a wrong delivery date from Apple. :)

Talked to Apple today about my MacBook Pro with the dead pixel and they offered to do an express replacement - I can keep my current MBP until the replacement arrives in a few weeks without any charge. So happy with the customer service and this amazing machine. ?

Yes me but my package can not be tracked. There is only "Shipment information received" so its already in the Netherlands and it says its DHL Express with 08.11 as delivery date but it did not come. No flight tracking or custom stuff its super weird.

Do you also have "Shipment information received" and DHL Express tracking? It does nothing since saturday when it went to this state.

Mine finally moved to "preparing for expedition", what is the delay up to shipped from this status usually ?

It can happen as late as 48h before the early extreme of the arrival window, so in your case you might get a shipped notification on the 16th. Good luck with the wait!
You can't look at that in a general way. My order is still in processing and my time slot is 10/11/2021 - 17/11/2021. The specialist at the Apple hotline was just saying to that, that there are currently no delays.

I totally agree - my anecdotal experience is just that, anecdotal. Apple and their shipping partners try really hard to hit or even improve on their delivery windows, so all I'm really saying is rest easy (I know that's impossible until the bloody things arrive ^^)

Generally shipping from Eindhoven (or another local warehouse) happens if there is a need for Apple to combine your order with something. Imagine they would need to add/change/swap adapters for some reason, or you added another product in your order which is in local stock. Your order is then shipped from China to the local warehouse, processed, and then shipped from the local warehouse to you. I'm in the same boat for some reason.
