Just throwing my hat into the ring (after returning a MBP in order to get a better model).

14” 10/32/32GB 1TB
Ordered on 7/11/2021
Delivery date: 6/12 - 13/12 (Germany)

So far no movement (Processing) and no charges on my credit card (the initial hold has long since disappeared).
Quick update: no update :(

Quite the same boat as you, got the 14" 10CPU/16GPU/16GB/1TB at a local Apple Store but after a week, knew I needed the 32GB.

Item Ordered: 14" M1 Pro 10CPU/16GPU/32GB/1TB SSD
Date Ordered: 16th November 2021
Delivery Date (Original): from 10th Dec to 16th Dec (Spain)

Apple sent me an email on 20th Nov that my order has been delayed and expects to leave storehouse on 3rd Dec, nevertheless Delivery Window got updated "from 7th Dec to 15th Dec", and many ppl say it's like a 4-5 day from leaving the warehouse, so I don't know what to expect TBH.

No credit card charge has been attempted yet AFAIK (checked with Apple and the bank today) - also I profited the bank call to raise the CC limit to avoid any issues when they charge.

Fingers crossed, I hope it all goes well!!!

A UK bound 14” pro ordered 3/11/21. Was due 3-10th dec

Went to PFS yesterday and I’ve just received UPS ping in my choice saying it’s coming this Friday 26th!
Hurray! Thank you for sharing your order status! I'm waiting for my 14" ordered 4/11/21 from a business retailer. Kinda anxious for me as I don't have access to any info on the order...

My delivery date has now changed to this Friday, the 26th. It's listed as in transit now in Shanghai and Apple still hasn't charged my credit card.

My order has been shipped. Delivery from December 6-13 on Apple website. UPS shows delivery on November 25th. The parcel is sent from China.
My order page was updated with new delivery window of 06-14 Dec. Was 07-15 before, but still in Processing.

You might have some good news. Mine just went to “Shipped” and while the delivery has been updated to Nov 25 by UPS (Apple’s delivery window remains the same as Dec 7-15).

Our machines are essentially the same specs, so yours is most likely traveling in the same plane. Even if it’s just one day behind due to the charging mishap, you should be able to expect an early delivery.

just checked UPS and its already left Shanghai (21.29 CST)

my apple order still shows it as preparing for shipment!

The apple.com status now changed too.

The dispatch email from apple shows

The live tracking on apple.com shows

And UPS show

I’ll assume it’s Thursday!

Congrats on the free Macbook. ?
Haha, yeah, it is really strange how they have charged my card. They made three charges, all of which were left pending for three days and then dropped off my card. If I don't see a charge by tomorrow I'll contact Apple.

I also think that our machine mostly likely will flight in the same plane.

Yeah, it seems that they charge a week before the shipment and than it takes 4-5 working days for delivery.
My hopes are that they can speed the shipment phase, since the expected delivery dates are much shorter now.
Intrigued by your experience.

Apple got pre-authorisation on my credit card account last Wednesday (19 November).

Placed my order one week earlier (12.11) with a delivery window of 10 - 17 December, subsequently updated on 15.11 to 06 - 13 December.

The Apple tracker still shows my order as being in preparation.

Based on your experience should my card be charged any day now with shipping following just afterwards?

Any one else (@Jinjin perhaps) have any idea?

In case it might be relevant, the only "extra" on my machine is a bigger SSD.

Would be able to comment more if you provide your specs. From the top of my head, unless you have 64GB of RAM or M1 Max, you should be getting your MBP by the end of the month.

Thanks. I don't have a truly pro use case so it's a standard spec silver 14" simply upgraded from a 1TB SSD to 2TB. End of month sounds good!

I have to say that was my usual experience but with my original BTO order (ordered straight after the event on the 18th Oct) I initially had a pending charge for the full amount which dropped off after a few days. I then had my order ship from apple on the 25th and then finally got a charge on my credit card on the 27th. So a good few days after the MacBook shipped.

Seems to be a little random on charges tbh but most do seem to happen prior to shipping.

It’s been a bit difficult to tell with my most recent order as I had my first BTO refunded as apple vouchers and then used them to pay for the new machine.

Finally, mine moved to Preparing Shipment during the night.

So, one day behind due to charging mishap translates to one day behind in shipment. I was expecting tho.

For the shipment itself, anyone has experience in Italy?
Last year they shipped my CTO M1 MBP with UPS from china and wasn’t very fast.

I dreamt that my MacBook Pro 16 (10c,16c,16GB,1TB) was shipped and already was in Amsterdam (or sent from there?..) and was only going to travel up to Sweden which shouldn’t take that long but when I woke up I realized it was just a dream. :(

Apple charged me on the 19th of nov so I thought it was going to chip not long thereafter, but nope, not yet.
I realize it could take quite long before it ships since I ordered just over a week ago but if I had ordered a few days the shipping dates wasn’t that terrible.

Apple charged my card again today, so I am guessing this will be the last one and it will stick since my MBP has already shipped. They have charged my card 4 times for this purchase, three times over the past week.

My delivery date is now set to this Friday the 26th! That will make it two days shy of exactly four weeks from the order date.

I'm really looking forward to getting it as I've been using my backup machine - a 2015 11-inch MacBook Air with 4GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD - since October 25th, the day I sold my M1 MBP. This time around I decided to wait to get the configuration that I really wanted, instead of settling for something that wasn't exactly what I wanted just to get it sooner.

Same for me. I placed an order for the mid spec 16" after the unleash event to have the machine the soon as possible, but after debating I cancelled that order and I'm waiting for 4 more weeks to have 32gb.
This time no compromise.

”Wait, the destination is Switzerland…. let’s charge them a few times….”

Nobody ever said this at Apple :p
