So far I'm impressed how fast the shipping is by TNT. My MBP was shipped on the 22nd Shanghai time (like 3pm Switzerland time). This morning I received a notification that it is already in my city in Switzerland.

The expected delivery date is still set for this Friday, but it's impressive that it made it from Shanghai to Switzerland in two days without any hiccups.

Out for delivery now! Wow, really impressive and way to go TNT for such awesome shipping. I will get it two days earlier than expected.

TNT has always been the best courier delivery company. I was afraid its quality would drop following its acquisition by FedEx. Glad to hear all is still well. Mine shipper is UPS. Hopefully, it all goes well tomorrow!

Yeah I was worried about that as well but so far so good. It seems UPS is doing better than FedEx lately, so hope you will get yours on time with now issues!

Funnily enough. although my macbook was transported from China to Switzerland via TNT, delivery in Switzerland was done by FedEx :).
And the TNT tracking is still showing my package as not being delivered.....although I have mine for 4 weeks now!

Mine is still scheduled for delivery on the 26th but DHL still hasn’t received the parcel. Guessing it’ll be next week.

EDIT: Although it's DHL Express, so could be on time if they receive it tomorrow.

I was thinking Apple was putting aside some stock for their partner like GPU for PC manufacturers, seems not to be the case

Did you order the base model or a custom one? It seems the delays are way higher for custom models

They probably do the opposite, as they make more profit selling themselves.

Congrats! When did your DHL tracking change? Mine is still for the 26th but marked as “shipping information received” since the 19th

It started moving yesterday at 17:27 when it was scanned in Amsterdam.
Mine was added on the 18th.

Hope you get your MacBook soon my friend.
It was worth the agony of today (maybe I will tell that story sometime. :p ).

Sometime between last night and this morning, the status changed to “Preparing for shipping”. Fingers crossed it progresses quickly :)

Mine is still on Preparing for Shipping.
Changed sometime between Monday night and Tuesday (early) morning, but no updates since.

A bit strange, people who got Preparing for Shipping on Monday morning got the shipment on the afternoon ...

Still no update, marked as “shipment information received" with no delivery date, but according to the Apple order page still on schedule for tomorrow. I'm hoping it's a case of DHL just updating it when it's out for delivery like I've read elsewhere.

One thing, the delivery status never changed to “Out for Delivery”. So if your shipping company is UPS and you really want your MBP sooner rather than later, watch out (also mine was delivered 2 hours earlier than the provided delivery window).
