UPS tracking has been up and down for me. My MacBook was sitting in Shanghai with no update for a few days and the. Suddenly it updated to show it left Germany! There was no indication of it leaving Shanghai or doing the usual trip to Incheon and then to Cologne.

I just checked and the delivery estimation of the new order slipped a lot today
Yesterday, one might get delivered before the 13th of December for a new order, today it's the 22nd!
Either there are a lot of new orders, or the supply chain is even more messed up

As I mentioned my status changed to Preparing to Ship last night but today I noticed that the charge in my debit card has gone back. I don’t think there’s a limit for charges but I’m not sure so is there a way for me to check this with Apple without calling them to check this? If there’s an issue is there an email sent out or similar? Or maybe they always drop the charge after a week if it’s not shipped out by then?

I think you’d have to call them but a few of us had the same situation - apparently it’s a new system they’re trying out. FWIW mine got to the point where they sent me a “please pay up” email because they had refunded the initial payment they took too early and it still worked out fine

Alright thanks.

I guess I’m just inpatient and don’t want to look too desperate by calling them for the second time in a week hehe but maybe it’s better to be on top of it if there’s some sort of issue with the payment that delays the shipping since I really don’t want to wait unnecessarily long. Both my other Macs has gotten swollen batteries (both to the point that the chassi has started to be bent outwards!) and they weirdly became swollen in about the same time even though one of them had its battery replace 1-2 years ago (sadly not by Apple themselves or one of their AASP), so I’m worried they will break before the new computer gets here and is much rather have Apple replace the battery in at least one of them and then maybe sell it to get some money back on it.

Mine has shipped and is pre-authorised (reserved) on my CC account since 19.11. Not yet charged and very much reducing my available balance.
I had expected Apple to charge on shipment.
Would be great if someone reading this thread could explain how the CC system works and/or Apple’s charging process?
 
It seems mine won't be shipped today, no movement/notifications and most of the orders usually ship between 10am-5pm CET, so I guess I'll have to wait, patience is a virtue they say, but it's killing me watching this "PTS" for more than 36h, meditation incoming o_O

Yeah, it could be worth talking to them just to confirm. If it helps to put your mind at ease I only found out there was an issue because they had then tried to charge the card again (which had no money because it was being sent back from Apple). This was two weeks ago and they assured me that it wouldn't affect the dispatch date. After a week I finally paid and they were right - not only did it arrive on time but it arrived today, earlier than the original estimate of 1-8th December.

That really sucks about the other MacBooks, though. I'd definitely give them a call then just to make sure the new one is on its way.

Just got shipping notification, and delivery is expected on Dec 2.
That's a still within the original delivery window.
That updated notice that it would be after the 13th is just a weird fluke of the system, it would be less stressful to have the auto pupated happen towards the end of the window rather the beginning.
It's all good though, really looking forward to replacing my 2013 27" iMac.

Mine just got shipped! Wooho!

Ordered: 15th of November
PTS: 25th of November
Shipped: 27th of November
Due on: 1st of December

Apple has not charged my card yet but a pendling charge appeared on the 19th of November but disappeared one week later.

UPS is handling my shipment.

Something strange happened.

The payment for the macbook disappeared and the money are back on my availability.
On 20/11 I had manually authorized to charge the sum, since I previously had a limit of 3k per month. Since than that sum has been curtailed from my funds but today it got released.

My MBP is already shipped with ups.

I read that someone got charged multiple times while the order was in processing due to charge authorization expiring before the shipment but I thought that they actually take their money when they mark Prepare To Shipment.

I received "Shipment" notification 3 hours ago (via iMessage and also via eMail) and planned delivery is on 9/12 (I guess it will arrive earlier since today its the 27th) so yay!!!!! :D

Despite that, Apple "Orders" page still shows my package as "PTS" and the date didn't update (still shows from 7th to 15th) and I don't have any tracking number available, neither on the mail nor or on the page, is this normal? Should I wait a lil bit more or should I call Apple to certify?

PS: I really hope my package has not been lost already LOL

Yup, strange the page refuses to show "Shipped" state yet (maybe I broke it after thousands of refresh these last days hahaha) I called Apple anyway cause I was a little nervous, and their system show as "Shipped", so a huge relief, she even gave me the tracking number and it's shipped via DHL and theoretically on its way to Eindhoven (as soon as it arrives there, the info will be updated, as happened with others as well with the same destination)

So now yes, my MBP M1 Pro is on the way!!!! Here's a recap for all of you:

Congratulations anyway! I hope you don’t have to wait to the 9th. I’d have believe our MBPs will keep each other company on their way to Europe but mine was shipped with UPS, anyway my due date is the 1st dec and I’m sure you’ll get yours next week as well as long as there aren’t any delays.

Via customer service line, on the phone, at Spain they're available on Saturdays from 9am to 6pm to reach them.

Thanks buddy! I'm glad as hell :) I'll be controlling tracking number from Monday morning, let's see how it evolves for the delivery dates.

PS: My "Orders" page still shows it as "PTS", maybe it will change to shipped once it arrives to Eindhoven and ships from there. Apple employee told me that my tracking won't update info at DHL page till this happens, I think some ppl had the same situation when being delivered by DHL on its page but not Apple one. Anyway, no need to worry anymore since on their systems appears as "Shipped" and I managed to get the number.
 
I am in the same situation. Got an email earlier today that my order is shipped but my order status is still in preparing to ship.

edit: managed to get the DHL tracking out of the reference code in the email. ?
