Do you think I got any chance to receive my mac this week?
Or at least in the time window they gave me?

Order: 16'' Max/32/64GB/1TB
Order date: 11/11
Delivery window: 9/12 - 16/12
Best way is to call Apple, as it seems that 64GB specs get delayed reading most peoples posts, but it seems to differ per person.

You do not seem to have a date changed. Call Apple to be sure. Update us I am curious how its going for in terms of shipping, as your date seem to be like next week. Shouldn’t you have gotten a shipment notice already (during normal times)?

On the one hand it would be nice if it was like that for me too, on the other hand I cant stay home all day long just for the chance of them delivering it today/ tomorrow/... without any further announcement..
Totally agree. I said the same to Apple op; I insisted to double check, and to provide me with a time window, as I cannot ensure to be always available for the reception.
After checking he confirmed the delivery will be today (6th Dec) before 6PM (such a time window...).

I concluded there is nothing more I can ask from him but I will believe it when I get my parcel delivered.

Hi, today I got the notification from TNT of the shipment, in how many days should they deliver according to your experiences? The tracking say:
Shanghai-Songjiang Ftz, China 6 dic

I called the Apple Store hotline, and the person I talked to also said she saw 1st December as the last tracking information and asked me to hold the call while she would call UPS (delivery company in my case) to ask about it. After a while she could just tell me that it is sadly still stuck in Shanghai and they cant report a delivery date yet. Guess we/I have to just wait and see when something in the tracking info changes.

how many days from Shanghai to Switzerland? My MacBook Pro was shipped today with TNT :) thank u
Mine took 3 days at the end of october. I had the shipping confirmation on monday. My macbook arrived on wednesday afternoon. It goes direct from Shanghai to Liege (Belgium) with a TNT airplane.

Stay optimistic!

And this is what the (UPS) cat just dragged in…

Packaging in perfect condition.

Now back to work before unpacking tonight and migrating over the weekend!
Starting to love it!

Recap:
12.11 ordered silver MBP 14" M1 Pro 10C/16C/16GB/2TB - delivery window 10-17.12
15.11 delivery update 06-13.12
19.11 CC pre-authorised (reserved)
23.11 preparing for shipment
25.11 shipped with UPS, delivery update 02.12
25.11 delivery update 29.11
26.11 cleared Import Customs in Shanghai
27.11 received invoice dated 25.11
27.11 CC charged
28.11 delayed in Shanghai, 29.11 delivery date disappeared
01.12 airfreighted, delivery update 02.12
02.12 delivered.

Clean install over the weekend.
Downloaded and installed latest software versions.
Relied on "connect and play" for peripherals.
Lots of file housekeeping.

For travel bought some 1TB SD cards as offline storage, need a new sleeve (neoprene, padded edges, zip).

First impressions at home are really good. I truly appreciate the silence. My Intel 13" was so hot and noisy with the monitor (LG 5K2K). The silver / black contrast looks good and the screen is amazing. It's useful to have the possibility to use iPhone and iPad apps.

Good luck for those of you who are still waiting for their deliveries - it's well worth the wait!

Thank you for sharing. That's sad. It worries me that none of UPS agents or Apple service desk seem to know anything about the cause of the delay (or they don't to communicate about it).

Hope you get it sorted soon, your timeline package misplacement in the tracking system was weird, and it really seems a mistake, IDK if it comes from Apple or UPS, but in your case they f****d it up, so congrats to get some customer rights with that investigation.

As I told you on Saturday, they don't tend to mess with origin/departure scans since they're phisically allocated there, that would be a serious failure in their IT system unless they can update also manually and if that's the case, all goes down to human error again. So, your only reliable proof that your package is still in China is from UPS CS right? What's exploding in my mind, is why the hell their databases are not unified/synced, I wish I knew how logistic works, so I'd be glad when your investigation is over and you get your MBP to hear what happened.

Keep it up buddy! ?
Thank you for the support words! I'm also pretty worried, because a scan doesn't just get scanned at another checkpoint, unless they do some kind of "optimistic scanning". Especially if the route is Shangai, Seoul, Kölln. Imagine if it ends up that the sticker fell off and got sticked to an another package ?

Anyway, it appears that UPS has 2 tracking services. Something internal and something public. Apple confirmed that they can see both systems and they also confirmed that they see two different things.

So on the UPS's website says that the MBP went through Seoul, arrived to Germany, cleared import customs and no updates since 30th of November (which seems to be wrong, pic here https://forums.macrumors.com/attachments/screen-shot-2021-12-04-at-11-34-38-am-png.1922886/), but both Apple and UPS CS they confirmed that their last scan is "Not yet arrived in Germany" (30th of November) and the last location is Shangai's customs (proof attached picture).

Furthermore, looking at the other reports in this thread I think the UPS's tracking is chronologically wrong, because in other shippings I don't see a destination country/european import customs checkpoint (which I have in my history after landing in the destination country and then getting lost). I might be just building paranoia here tho.

Just called UPS. Worst 60 Cent spent. Ever.
All the guy from "customer service" said was "the parcel has not arrived yet".
No information on where it is, when it should arrive, nothing.

They are quite responsive (and useless) via Twitter. That's how I got in touch with them. To sum it up they told me the package was not in Germany and that the sender should open an investigation...

Update: Apple initiated the investigation and sent me an email that my package was going to be delayed (well, really after 5 days?) and is now reflecting on the UPS's side too, where it says that they are locating the package in my local UPS warehouse. How did it arrive to the local warehouse is a mystery since the package is supposed to be still in China (conversation with UPS this morning -> https://forums.macrumors.com/attachments/untitled-3-jpg.1923936/). I think they really messed up my tracking big time.

At least is a step forward... I just hope they haven't lost it and have to rebuild the MBP.

Thanks for your info. I think your following up with Apple/UPS triggered something for the whole lot.
I've also received an SMS and an email from Apple few minutes ago: "Your order is possibly delayed" (no kidding...). What a mess... it's crazy that nobody is able to give an accurate information about the delivery status and location of the parcels. It's my first Apple computer and I'm getting really really disappointed.
I understand there might be delays, but for the price the devices are sold there should be at least a perfect communication.

On the Way
Your package is in transit. We're updating plans to schedule your delivery. / The package will be forwarded to a UPS facility in the destination city.
Shanghai, China

I called earlier, and they told me everything was still on track. Apple was going to charge me in no time, almost ready to ship, and they confirmed again that I should receive it in the time window they gave me. So I'm pretty hopeful at the moment!

Such amazing news for you! I am curious if it really gets in on time! Hope so! Let us know :)

My MBP is arrived today (04:01 PM) at NL warehouse, usually it should come tomorrow (it's always less than 24h from Eindhoven) but not sure since Apple and DHL give the same estimated date: Dec 08

Processed at the sorting center
Dec 6 4:38 PM

Weighed and measured at the sorting center
Dec 6 4:02 PM

Inspection by customs
Dec 6 4:01 PM

Summary:

- Ordered: Oct 22, MBP 16" space grey MAX/64/2TB
- First delivery window: Nov 26 / Dec 3
- Nov 29: Pushed to Dec 13 / Dec 15
- "Preparing to ship" Nov 30 6h45 PM
- "Shipped" Dec 1 3h25 PM (DHL)
- Arrived to EINDHOVEN (NL) Dec 06 04h01 PM

It's actually insane that you ordered on October 22nd and you had to wait this much. Makes me think when will I get mine that has been ordered on October 28th, and I bought it via reseller so I have no info on potential delivery.

I've got the shipping notification a couple of minutes ago, estimated delivery day December, 16. It's DHL but the tracking code gives an error...

My delivery window was Dec. 7 -15.

I ordered mine on Oct 21st, Card debited on 27th of Nov, I am in the same situation. No delivery yet, not perspective of a delivery date, neither Apple or UPS can give an accurate info about any estimated delivery date neither the current status or location… On the other hands some people ordered after us and already received their device. I don’t think there is any logic in the order of orders if I may say :p

Tracker on DHL usually gets delayed, when I got my "Shipped" email, my "Orders" page was not even synced, in the email though, there's a reference, you can try tracking by that (https://mydhl.express.dhl/us/en/tracking.html#/track-by-reference) and maybe you'll be more lucky.

If not, give the system a few hours (Apple and DHL) it should sync & appear. When you have the "Waybill Number" (possibly is the one you've already got) and system is up/tracking you go and check this one: https://www.dhlparcel.nl/en/follow-your-shipment?lc=en-NL - if you complete it with your ZIP code, it will display more details and even your address info in case it needs correction.

I am on the same boat. Ordered mine on October 25th from a premium reseller and still nothing xD Let‘s see how long this waiting game will go ?

in the email though, there's a reference
Thank you. There is a reference in the mail but is something like 1 XXXXXXXXXXX (with a space after the 1 and then 10 digits). When I go to the tracking page it shows another number which is a 10 digits code starting with 9. Anyways probably it needs a couple of hours to update the tracking.

In the "shipped" email from Apple, you should see this but in Italian of course:

Dirección de envío:

XXXXX

Referencia:

1234567890

Try to enter that "Referencia" number in the reference URL I gave you, it has an specific input for reference number, mine was 10 digit.

My mail is different :)

I have an order number and a shipment reference number (both don't work if I try them in the tracking page). Shipment date is tomorrow but it's already December 7 in China...
