Same, I ordered my 11 last friday as soon as the store went up.
Today I read about some other guys, whose date was changed tho 3-7 Oct. as well, being charged ad shipped for delivery tomorrow. Sadly this is not my case.
Really poor experience, the costumer service is unable to help or provide explanations as well. Since I sold my actual phone once I got mail confirmation for the 20th, tomorrow morning I will visit local resellers and hope to be lucky.
The product page availability turned to “Currently unavailable”, but my order is still listed on track for delivery. Hopefully Amazon doesn’t screw us over.
I'm not sure what you're worried about. Amazon confirmed our orders and they will ship them. The listing is probably just being updated now that the release date has arrived.
I've been an Amazon Prime user for ages and while there's a lot to criticize about Amazon they excel when it comes to fulfillment. I don't have any doubts that our units will be dispatched today and arrive on time. Relax.
Edit: And the listing is back - now with more detailed delivery estimates for each product variant. They seem to have sold through their first (and possibly second and third) batches and since my delivery time still says tomorrow, everything seems fine. We're simply among the first batch I'd assume.

iPhones were loaded into the UPS bus this morning at 05:01, now I just have to wait at latest until the "end of day" to receive them @work. Sucks that UPS doesn't have timeframes like DHL does.

No, it’s the arrival in the local UPS center. The next update should be “out for delivery”
That's not always the case. Destination scan can sometimes also mean that it's out for delivery. Sometimes there's no scan at all after the arrival scan.

My Apple Watch arrived at 9:03 AM, via DHL Express.
UPS, of course, is nowhere to be seen yet.
Umm... well, if you don't live in Nurnberg, then you should be worried. Your package should've moved by now, to be able to get onto the delivery truck for today's deliveries.
I got my text from DHL this morning to say its coming between 11:40am - 12:40pm, not long left guys!!!
Netherlands here, its being send through DHL Express but got an early morning message that shipment is on hold? For a little while it showed an apology message for a delayed delivery on the Apple status website, that's gone now, but DHL still shows its on hold. Too bad though as I took the day off. Should I call DHL?
