UPDATE: Mine is preparing for shipment now. CC charged. Fingers, arms and legs crossed for a quick delivery now!

Wouldn't mind, but I don't raise too much hope... anyways, nice to hear that things are moving for most people here (although slowly)!
This time for me an update too! SamR123 managed to get one MacBook 1,1GHz in gold for me, so I cancelled my order at Apple. Going to Sam to pick my MacBook up this week.

So you are still processing?? Mine is still at preparing for shipment. I'm guessing despatch tomorrow and delivery Thursday.
i got still no tracking informations about my shipment and no informations about which company will deliver it. Standard delivery sounds like it could be UPS. But i also dont see any informations in UPS mychoice.
there is also no movement since the 08.05.
And Apple is still saying that i will get the MacBook on 15.05.
To be honest: i don't believe that.

Yeh, still processing. Still, on the bright side, I've had my AV adapter for a good week now.
I am in the same position, except I got an update on Monday that the shippment is delayed, but the estimated date didn't change (18.5.).. And so far they have been updateing every working day but yesterday nothing,/ Hope at least yours come as promised. They say you get tracking info two days before so that's still manageable!
I thing apple usually sends through TNT to Austria - when they send from a distribution centre. I dont know about Germany..

Okay, so dispatched today! But delivery date is showing as 18/19 May! Typically, Apple always delivers quickly, so this is most disappointing. More waiting!!!

Have a unit destined for Geneva any moment now, currently in Zurich as at this morning. Will the public holiday taking place tomorrow prevent a delivery?
Does anyone know how this effects the courier business. My gut instinct tells me a Friday delivery at this stage.

UPS called me 2 times this morning but i wasn't here to get the package. I still hope to have it this afternoon, but the most probable is to expect a deliver on Friday as tomorrow is a free day 🙁 .

I am surprised that these are all shipping from China (mine is). Why does Apple have no stock in the UK?
Weird that these are all in such limited supply in Apple stores, yet John Lewis seem to have had sufficient stock.

Mine status changed to: "Preparing handover to final carrier" today.. I was researching it a little bit and in most of the cases it meant delivery on the next working day.. However, no tracking information and the estimated date still on 18.5. I should stop obsessing I know,)
Anyway, do you guys have any experience with this stupid merging in transit and various obscure statuses from Apple?
