For me it was 5 days before the earliest estimated arrival. I received it on the 13th of May with. Estimated arrival was 11-19 May.

Some norwegian stores/websites changed their delivery window from 28-05 to 30-06 and still not confirmed. They won't get them before Skylake...

Received Gold 1.1ghz at Pippin this tuesday. Not sure if I'm gonna pick it up. The mixed reviews are making my card stay still. Will have to pick it up tomorrow, if any of you live in the south of Norway, I may be able to transfer it to a macfanboy in need this friday.

No delivery date yet. It seems to me that they know nothing at all. Expert still says 2019 lol. The Apple shop (Eplebutikken) in Oslo says 4-6 weeks, but they do not have a confirmed date. They are guessing in other words...
Mine is dispatched (to Switzerland, ordered 23th april) at 19.05, deliver for the first june...but it really needs two weeks ? I can't track the package...apple store say they will update information 48h before the effective deliver
What does "preparing for shipment" mean and why does it take days to do so? My 1.3 is on that status since two days and not changing.

guys - great news - the apple store app now accepts touch ID for viewing orders, so we can save a few extra seconds each time we check our order status 27 times a day!

I just ordered a base silver at elkjop.no and received confirmation that it was sent today!! ETA next friday. Pleased and surprised. All other norwegian (web)stores only have pre-orders with no delivery date at all.
I cancelled my order (20/4) from Apple. Still nothing happened there.
Even got a 5% discount compared to the Applestore.

Received in on Tuesday. Only complaint I have is that the screen has some wobble to it, unless it is on a rock solid surface. Apart from that, very impressed.

What was delayed? Dispatch or delivery?
If any consolation am still waiting - my delivery scheduled for 1-12 June and it's still 'processing'. Hoping by Monday it will begin preparing for shipment.

Yeah, I noticed that as well. I thought it was because of the SG being the most popular???
I prefered the silver anyway, they had only 5+ while 50+ for other colors. I checked: the silver one was the only one you could 'collect in store' so I concluded they really had that one. I felt very insecure about the other colors. It could be a mistake. I phoned them and they said that happened but could not say it was the case here.
Well, I guess I was just lucky (getting rid of 11980 NOK).
