I'm under orders to print off at least 12 copies before we head off to our party. Being the "Total Geek" of the group that sort of thing always falls to me.
 
The preliminary final's on tonight so I'm really quite excited. Eurovision is always an annual highlight. 😀

Just finished watching it - overall I think about 7/10. I was a bit disappointed that Poland, Andorra and Denmark didn't get through though. I really liked Poland's swing vibe; as Blink 182 as Andorra was, it was something a bit different for Eurovision; and Denmark was just catchy in general. Belgium would have been a goer too if the singer had sung a little better.

Macedonia should definitely not have gone through, nor should have Latvia but I'm glad that Israel and Switzerland missed out - didn't like them at all.

Looking forward to the final tomorrow night! 😀

No, no live broadcast unfortunately. They actually put it on at night during "prime time" because it's really quite popular and lots of people organise parties.

I haven't seen any of the pre-Eurovision stuff... I only realised it was on *today* earlier this evening!

So the main guy in the UK entry is the one who dressed up in drag for that stupid E4 show about a boys-become-girl-band, is that right? (sorry if that was already mentioned but I've just seen this thread and only read the last few posts)

Is it just me or was that Irish bird wailing kinda off-key?

So far that Finnish entry was about the best.

I really had no desire to watch this but hey, it's on now... 😱

So far, I'd agree with you on that one.

It looks like Georgia have decided to emulate last year's winners Lordi a bit, by waving weapons around on stage. They were a bit rubbish with them, though.
 
Does anyone know which channel this will be broadcast on in the United States? BBC America or IMF perhaps?

Is that woman in the obnoxious pink coat Silvia Night?
 
Well, it's been uninspiring so far.

That Georgia one was so orange though, but her face somehow managed to be even more saturated orange. 😀
 
dynamicv picked out Sweden as his hot tip prior to this evening, and I have to say that – so far at least – that one's been the best offering.
