Drop the sarcasm, it's just annoying. Just read his posts.

Funnily, the same thing was said prior to Honeycomb's release. Personally, I'm waiting for Ice Cream Sandwich with rainbow sprinkles.
a classic case of not understanding the context because the review makes it clear that honeycomb does not have quad-core support hence all the tests that they ran in the review used only 2 cores. ICS is required quad-core use and Asus has promised that it will be supported once ICS is official.
i'm kinda impressed that the Prime scores extremely close to the ipad2 in terms of battery life without even running the Prime in its most power-efficient state.
The testing that the Verge did gave iPad 2 about 8 hours and the Transformer Prime 4-5 hours.
My iPad with iOS 5 gives me random program closures, web pages that sometimes take forever to open, safari force closing.
And don't say it's my iPad.
My wife's does the same thing.
So let's not pretend the iPad is flawless.

My 600MHz Android phone (over clocked to 787MHz) is way more fluid and way less laggy than my iPod touch 4th gen.
It really is all about the manufacturer's crapware living on top of Android. Im running straight Android Gingerbread (CyanogenMod 7) and its quick, smooth, and rock solid.
Touchwiz, Motoblur, Sense, and all those other interfaces give Android a bad name.
Like people stuck on 2.1 with six month old hardware.
You have any examples? All 6 month old hardware is on 2.3 (majority) and 2.2 (minority). Considering that 2.3 is the latest version of Android, I would say it's a very good statistic.
Current Android Version chart showing 2.1 has 9.6% of all of Android devices. And absolute latest version is dominating

I am not counting ICS, since it's not 100% officially out. And please, try to get your facts straight before the post.
Ever heard of ZTE phones? May be small here but they are plentiful in China (Biggest Mobile Carrier in the world is in China BTW).
Not to mention my Girlfriends 1 year old Samsung Galaxy Phone they still have not updated.
Also the chart you have shown is based off of API plugged in devices. You do realize millions of smart phones and tablets are not plugged into the Googles API right?
Sounds like you may need to do some reading.
But what do you expect from manufactures like LG and Samsung that make TVs and other Electronics that when the product is flawed or needs an update they want you to buy a new one.
Ever heard of this little handset called Galaxy Nexus? It's made by Samsung. And 1st on Ice Cream Sandwich. LG also committed to ICS. Galaxy S updating to 2.3 as we speak. And I believe Samsung is #3 manufacturer of smartphones (behind Apple and HTC), so do not say that they are just a tv manufacturer.
I don't know much about that, but Ice Cream Sandwich does actually support GPU accelerated UI. The reviews of it have mentioned the UI is much more fluid now, unlike Honeycomb.Funnily, the same thing was said prior to Honeycomb's release. My point is these manufacturers don't care about updating old hardware. They value engineer products to last a short lifespan so you buy another one.
The Nexus S is a Google Developer phones so yes they have the OS first. What about the Fascinate or Continuum? Took a year to get the Fascinate to Froyo after Samsung lied about releasing it within three months of launch. The Continuum is still waiting for Froyo still stuck on Eclair. Not to mention both phones are and we're stuck on Bing search. LG don't get me started.

Where did I say they are just a TV manufacturer? Can you read the whole sentence? FYI Samsung is broken up in multiple divisions and mobile is not their largest by a longshot.

Kind of like Apple, who leaves out features from iOS on older devices.
There is a difference between a 3GS not getting an iOS5 feature and not getting iOS5 at all.
Android lag should be fixed, by the time that Lemon Meringue is released.I'm holding out for Jello Pudding Pop.

Really? I am on 4.3 on my iPad, and wondering what's in iOS 5 that's really worth it? Cloud, twitter, newsstand? That's it? Cloud is a big one. Others are minor.
So, maybe Google should release "2.3 Neutered edition" for older devices? Apple seems to be quite content with doing just that.
I can attest to that - just today I was using Airplay to stream music to ATV2 and using the iPad2 for other tasks - the music stuttered at least 5 times before I went to my MBP and played it from there. I also routinely get program crashes (mSafari included) and low memory conditions are dime a dozen.
I got suckered into believing that iPad was somehow panacea - it is still better than Honeycomb when it works but that's not saying much.

WRONG. Android 2.3.3 - Android 2.3.7 =/= 2.3.7.
Google grouped 5 versions of firmware together for a reason. Because most people are not using 2.3.7.
sounds to me like that has more to do with your internet service provider or your router, more than the iPad.My iPad with iOS 5 gives me random program closures, web pages that sometimes take forever to open, safari force closing.
