Even Waitresses Know a Real Apple Watch

It's official, folks: "Even Waitresses Know ..." is now a new meme. Use it whenever you want to say "everybody knows that".

Even Geico will soon start using it in their commercials.

As a result (even if it is heavily frowned upon) some waitresses are able to get glimpses of the outside world by quickly glancing up at the screens while their managers aren't watching. This is heavily frowned upon and is probably how she found out about the Apple Watch.

I recommend reporting her to her manager. It was probably innocent, but we can't let these sorts of things slide.

Either I'm having a weird déjà vu or there are shenanigans on this forum but I could have sworn I saw a thread like this earlier today except it was about nurses instead of waitresses. ??:confused:??

This is the thread that started them all. OP seems to have a superiority complex, so because we are bored and have nothing better to do, we come up with memes and other shenanigans.
 
Ah, thanks. My whole family stayed home from school and work on a lovely spring day thanks to a nasty late season virus. I thought I was coming down with it myself and getting a bit loopy. :eek:

I'm still waiting for the evidence saying she knew it was a real Apple watch. I've had 2 servers ask me this week "Is that the, watch?" upon noticing my Zenwatch. The general public possibly knows Apple has released a watch, but they certainly have no clue what they look like. Every watch with a screen is now an 'iwatch'. :rolleyes:
 
So the question is, did you tip more? If so, the waitress is smarter ;)
