Here's a post for the guy at Apple who needs to read through all our complaining in order to compile tomorrow's "social media sentiment" report:

1.) Don't take it personal :-(
2.) If you could tell them that the iPad certainly is NOT the future of personal computing. The Mac however should be, but for some reason isn't anymore. Seems like they got things confused a while back.

Honestly, the attempt to address PC users with the iPad was the most pathetic aspect of the presentation. Apple is being left behind by Microsoft's Surface/Book, the new Lenovo Yoga, Dell XPS line, Razer Blade etc, and here they are, claiming the freakin' iPad is gonna fix it. I really wonder if their Mac/Book line with its Haswell chips, sausage-sized bezels and non-exchangeable internals is ever gonna catch up again.

And yet here their are, making fun of "5 year old PCs", many of which probably beat current Apple products in terms of specs. According to them, everyone should trash their devices after 3 years I guess, and what a hypocrite message this is in a keynote that you just kicked off by talking about your environmental responsibility...

I'm an Apple user myself and I'm in the market for a new device but this company really annoys me to the point where I'm considering the switch back to Windows after all these years.

iPhone sales stalled.

Apple saw a tranche of 4" iPhone users hadn't adopted the larger phone sizes.

They panicked and shoved iPhone 6 specs into an iPhone 5 shell.

No proper design or machining. Just a grab for profits with a half-baked SE product.

Poor. Poor. Poor.

Underwhelming to the extreme here. The first half is filler with PR fluff and all they introduce is a new iPhone 4" model and a successor ipad to the 9.7" model. Oh, and a bunch of watch straps with a price cut for the iWatch. Reminds me of the days when iPhoto updates were featured. A waste of time, Apple.

Like so many others here in very, very disappointed with this keynote.

I guess borrowing the old 5S design allowed them to drop the price a whole lot, but man what a joke considering the resources available to Apple.

The iPad Pro 9.7" is nice, but why gimp it with the USB 2 connector?! Another Spreedsheet Tim choice right there...

The iPad was worthy of being included in an event, but there was nothing else that qualified. What a snooze fest. What a joke. What a worry...

Tablets shouldn't even have cameras.

Can't stand when people say that. Never mind that there are people that actually use it as a camera which makes it a valid feature, it's used for other purposes like AR.

EVERYONE including myself is complaining about Apple. Why dont we go get the new Samsung S7 (or other phone of your choice) and give it a test drive? We get 2 weeks to return it if we're not satisfied. I know I'm tired of seeing all the other phone companies coming out with awesome features, while we get a 4inch iPhone 6S?! Complaining won't make them change, I say take your money elsewhere.

Not liking Apple doesn't mean I like Samsung or Windows. If I don't like new Apple products, my money will just sit. I personally don't see the other companies coming out with awesome features so I'm not tempted.

Edit: I can't for the life of me figure out why the eff Apple is wasting time on watch bands. [And making a keynote out if it!] Seriously, this is something best left to 3rd parties.

Can't believe they kept the old iPhone 5 casing for the iPhone SE. This cornered design is a pain in the pocket and was one of the reasons I got rid of my iPhone and switched to Android. The iPhone 6 feels good though, why didn't they align the design?

They named the event after watch bands. How much were you really expecting?

I don't think the "Let Us Loop You In" headline was a direct reference to Apple Watch bands, rather by the end of event I think Apple were taking a bow and saying farewell to the 'Town Hall' event centre, which has been a significant place for Apple to introduce new products and the like (the first iPod was announced there, as was the introduction of the Aluminium iMac, iOS 3 & 4 previews, iPhone 4S, and several other products).

I agree with many of the others. This event was very lackluster. Everyone involved seemed like they were heavily sedated. It's hard to get excited about minor product tweaks. And it showed.

Totally agree.

I just cringed when they started applauding the "new watch band". What the f?! How apple keynotes have fallen!

The most surprising thing to me was the $399 starting price of the SE. Also I'm liking the way they hide the cellular part on the new iPad Pro 9.7 better. Maybe that was on the 12.9 Pro, can't remember.

Random tangent, but did anyone notice in that first shot of the phone in the 'Meet Liam' video, the camera appears to be totally flush? There is definitely a lens cover there because it reflects at one point, but unless it's a very distorted view it looks a little strange

Instead of "sitting" and waiting... nevermind. Have fun!

The only thing Apple wanted to really show us today is (Liam) that they have gotten really deep into robotics!

Way to be an inventor.

the "bug" still works fine
Can anyone confirm that it's not possible (or much harder) to do with night shift on?

I tried 50+ times with nightshift to no avail. First try without nightshift and it worked.
