Do you see a difference between 1st and 2nd Gen SL White? I bought the 2nd Gen since I read here that it is different. But in my eyes it's exactly the same - unlike the SB 1st and 2nd gen colors which are quite different.
I don‘t have it yet but I’ve heard it’s brighter like Sport Band (first gen). The product marketing images seem different enough. I worry about struggling to see a difference once I have both, not that my two White1 solo loops are too heavily used.
Hermes is seemingly slightly darker but it’s not enough of a difference to advise spending money on the Hermes if you’re not interested in the pin or the Hermes-ness of the band.
Next up: cropping school and distortion correction boot camp.
I can try to make a comparison pic in the next days. The only difference that I see is the 45mm marking.
I would love that. Somehow being this one band short of complete isn’t bothering me. I don’t think about the neutrals a lot, tbh. If it’s still available beyond this season, surely it’ll be available for cheap on the resale market. If you can capture it in sun and shade in one or two photos, that would be great.
yeah im not sure why it crops so close sometimes, it feels like it's showing the the view through one camera and taking the pic through another.
Just don’t use telephoto unless you’re trying to get pin and crown both in focus or get the flattened look. I’ve been able to mitigate the bulbous look of the wide lens with the perspective editing tools.
Wow. Lilac is so pretty. It's very similar to Blue Fog. But still I wish I owned Lilac.
Yes, I'll leave it as is. I have a used one that I wear from time to time, but I didn't expect to find an unopened one, especially for the price, so I keep it as is.
I might be a little late to the party (and some of you may know this), but here’s an updated release dates chart. I hope it helps. I fully agree with @athousandbands, and still have my fingers crossed for a Summer collection after Pride bands. Apple might have skipped the season last year, but maybe it was related to the International Collection of Sport Loops.

I wonder what form the 2022 Pride band will come in. I'm leaning towards the solo loop since there's never been a Pride solo loop, although I wouldn't be surprised if they went with the braided again due to the higher profit margin. I'm hoping Hermès joins in the Pride wagon this year - I can definitely see them doing a Pride jumping single tour.
My only guess is a BSL where all the threads are identical like every seasonal SKU but that yarn is itself comprised of a rainbow pattern. I probably don’t have the chops to illustrate it, but I‘m sure I’ll try as May 16th approaches. Maybe this just means a Black Unity BSL style with a more frequent pattern of the ‘stars.’
Also maybe the new half-stripe sport loop style opens the door for my Zebra stripe gum wishcast; I need to do another concept where main stripes are different on each side:

No wait I can see it now. A pride silicone solo loop where its not stripes but full-bleed colors laid down one at a time, kind of a Nike loop jacquard but in this case makes a cool moire pattern that looks different from every angle and difference and has the subtle sparkle of the UV coating of the current solo loops.
Personally, I’m envisioning a tie-dye-ish solo loop. They might pour a couple liquid silicone colors in together and then cure the band.
