WAIT, so regular Apple SB now require folks to choose between S/M and M/L, but with Nike we get both (as previous)?!
I pity the poor retail employees that are gonna have to deal with the grumbly complaints…
Here in Germany, normal SB from the current collection still come with SM and ML straps 🤷🏼♂️
AFAIK this is still the case everywhere except in the US.
Looks kind of orangey with the holes being more red. I thought it would be more red than what I’m seeing.
I‘m in the US, but hadn’t looked at options for buying the Nike SB. I now do see that Apple forces US buyers to choose S/M vs M/L for NSB’s as well.
I’m still trying to understand the rationale for the change. Maybe shrinkflation? Which seems laughable, as I can’t imagine the additional half band costs that much to produce…maybe in aggregate they save on weight in freight charges? Vs environmental impact of less fluoroelastomer production?
Fact is that this only goes for the US and at the same $49 price. Somehow it seems US citizens are being screwed somehow.
At the mall picking up new phone and got a spur of the moment elderberry sport loop (it’s a fun fall plaid to me) haven’t opened it up yet!
It looks good to me. But I was hoping for a more intense red, more like the red SB. Anyway, I don't understand why Apple doesn't manage to release a red SB that matches the current case color.

It’s dark indoors for sure and outdoors you can really notice the dark green tones. Looks great. Probably not a keeper though lol
I pick up my Gold Stainless Steel Series 8 tomorrow and will have to pair it with that color and see what I think.
I’m assuming they didn’t change the gold but I’d love some confirmation. Thanks in advance. I’m head over heels with my S7 gold after a few weeks. So much more versatile than oldgold

Yes I expect it will be the same as the Series 7.
I loved the look of the Series 4 Gold. I wanted one to replace my Series 0 Stainless, but all they had in stock at the time was Space Black so I went with it - and have loved it ever since.
If I could get Space Black in a Series 8 outside of the Hermès model, I probably would, but now with Gold I will have had all three Stainless Steel finishes.
