The Verge has an amazing write-up of the Apple Watch's band-swapping mechanism. Who knew it would be that intricate? And probably thanks to everyone in this thread, the Apple Watch has a $1 billion accessory ecosystem!

Fascinating! I had no idea how much money and cost went into the mechanism. I guess I won‘t grumble about paying the $49 now 😜

I always thought the Woven Nylon bands looked a little too narrow on the 44/45 Watches, but on the Ultra they're so narrow that it looks trendy and deliberate, kinda like the Hermes Double Tour bands for the smaller Watch. 👌
I just started re-collecting the woven nylons that I want. Have 4 now and 5 more on the way. The only one I haven’t found yet is “black check” but Chargie is keeping an eye out for me. They certainly are WAY more narrow than the alpine/trail/ocean bands.
The funny thing is I thought woven nylons were more narrow than the leather loops but I think they are the same width…. Regardless they are really comfy!

Yeah, they look more narrow because they don‘t taper at all.

I love the Woven Nylon bands because they are very light and a touch more smart/classy than the rubber bands. Good luck for your hunt, I already have all (14) that I like. 😊

Yeah! So simple, so pure … and the red holder is just 👌

It'a real shame the 2016 Olympic Nylons are so incredibly rare … I would pay good money for the USA one, but the prices on ebay, the 2-3 times one showed up, were insane.

Nice collection! Not going to lye…. Now you have me eyeing up the toasted coffee/caramel……

Get it, you won't regret it. To me it is the nicest (non-leather) brown band we got, better than all rubber browns.

I actually also had the Black Checked one you're looking for, but sold it a while ago because it kept losing out to the Black Stripe one wrt wrist time.

The black Stripe is a sharp looking band. Decisions decisions on bands… the struggle is real! Lol

Tell me about it ... I‘m struggling since 2015 😂

(Right now I can‘t decide if the new Pride Celebration sport band is 🤩 or 🤪)
Lol. Nice.
As for the pride band, I’m in the “funky” camp. I think it’s pretty cool…. order it and give it a try. Worst case and you decide you don’t like it… ship er’ back to Apple. No harm no foul!

Thanks, more enabling is exactly what i need, lol. But you are right, of course. There is only one way to find out for sure …

Thanks! I somehow missed the first attachment in your original post, so I was confused why there were so many colors listed.

It’s incredible how much of a difference lighting makes! I have Cyprus green and sometimes it just looks charcoal gray. Olive looks much lighter than I thought it would.
Just to clarify, the original post was by MostlyARMless and not me. I just answered part of your question.

Weird things happen with Solo Loops: I wear both Size 1 (for snug fit) and Size 2 (for loose fit) for Braided Solo Loops and I have no problem, size 1 is a little tight when new but after a few weeks it adapts beautifully to my wrist and it becomes my favourite -perfect- size. For Solo Loops (rubber) I find size 2 a little loose but I can't wear size 1, too tight, and it doesn't loosen up, I have to sell it after a few days because it really hurts my wrist.
Is it normal? I'd really love to wear some rubber solo loops for swimming but I can't seem to find the right size and I'm afraid the sea water it's gonna hurt my braided solos.
