Does anyone have the Spruce Aura / Vapor Green Nike Sports Band, recently picked one up in sealed packaging, it looks correct, serial marked on the central lug securing pin. The non pin side seems very tight fit in the lugs and band is very soft compared to my other Nike bands, more flexible somehow.

Just wondered if this was normal for this model, I will post some more detailed images but it all looks genuine. Shown on Series 9 SS.

I have this band and mine is the same. It is the tightest fitting band I have as far as getting it into the lugs. It fits in my S7SS pretty well, but in my S7 Green Aluminum it is hard to install.

Thank you for that information, very useful 😊 - do you find it more flexible also, mine is so flexible compared to others. Since I carefully sanded the two slightly raised black plastic pieces, the side which was tight is now significantly easier to slide in and out, still a tight fit but more practical. I used 1200 grit sandpaper, very fine, you can run a finger nail around those black lugs and most likely you will find one side of the strap is almost flush and the other has a slight lip. It should be more obvious if you try that technique.

Not noticeably no. I do have some bands that are “harder” and others that are “softer”. This band would fall in line with my softer bands.
Good to know, this seems like my softest band yet by quite a margin, ironically I like it a lot more than expected. Normally I am a dark band person, black for the last 5 years in fact, until I discovered this thread 😊 😂

Just edited the images above, trying to get the green color accurate on screen, it is quite light and not hugely saturated in the flesh.

Yep my gym red bright crimson did have a few burrs on the middle black parts so I used a glass file to file it down a little bit to prevent the lug tightness

Lug tightness in straps are more on stainless steel Apple Watches btw

I didn't get around to testing that Aura strap on an aluminium watch, interesting to know though. 👍

I have to disagree. The anodizing of the aluminum watches increases base material thickness, resulting in reduced clearances. In my experience anyways.
Rly? Do you have a SS watch to claim bout that?

Yep some straps fit tightly with a little more give on a stainless steel Apple Watch

Idk bout the titanium though I did have an aluminium space grey series 1 before.

Is there some kind subsidy scheme sponsored by this thread, Lemon Zest and Elderberry sports bands arrived today. I had zero intentions of changing from my original 5 year old sports band until discovering this den of temptation, now I'm closing in on 14 in total 😲

Quick snap of Royal Pulse Nike band on Series 9 Graphite, Celestial Teal on the right, Ironstone left. Wrist shots coming!

Yes, this thread and the Hermes threads are VERY expensive threads to read.

Yep after getting on this thread I started band hunting again wherever I go to the store y’all. Also it inspires y’all to install bandbreite so no one wears the same band over and over again every day, and make use of your collection.

The black pin one came with space grey watches, a friend of mine has one like that
OK, That’s new to me. Never knew this. Also as far I can see, it’s neither stated in the Bandbreite database. There it says it only comes with a silver pin. Or am I missing something?

It's correct that some predefined combinations, especially those for Premium Resellers, do come with a black pin, even though the band is typically available only with a silver pin. However, to my knowledge, Nike Sport Bands were never part of such bundled combinations. I’d be happy to update the information if that turns out to be incorrect, but I honestly would be very surprised if.

There is no Olive Grey/Cargo Khaki band with a black pin and it coming with a Space Gray watch with a black pin is inaccurate.

To be super detailed the Olive Grey/Cargo Khaki Nike Sport Band was released in Fall 2021 alongside the Series 7 Apple Watch which did not have Space Gray as a variant anymore. The dark colored aluminum watch became the Midnight Aluminum. So that combination coming together with a dark pin wasn’t possible.

The only “Cargo Khaki” band that comes with a black pin is the Cargo Khaki/Black Nike Sport Band which yes that one could have came with a Space Gray Aluminum Nike Edition Apple Watch at the time of purchase.

There you go, I just wanted to provide you with some correct info so there’s no more confusion from the info you received.

If you wait long enough on this thread, someone who isn’t just making stuff up will come along 💞
