Wow it is pretty pale but I dig it! And shoot I guess I really like beryl too? More? No idea. Beryl seems like a whiter milky-er Turquoise.

Could’ve been. I think it was like $17 or so. Really want the color after seeing it here a dozen times.

Mine was sitting in my Poshmark likes since the end of last month for $20 but grabbed it for discounted shipping and $16 today. Figured it was the least I could do after bothering the lady with questions about it. She dropped it in the mail for me like within 30 minutes of me buying it. I’m excited now after seeing @oarx’s pics.

Thanks! Those are great shots. I didn’t realize how similar turquoise and beryl are! I can probably get beryl much easier than turquoise right now. Something to think about.

Anyone owning both Red 1st and 2nd generation able to post their boxes? Trying to see if they are different since I’m after 2nd generation but not all listings include a picture of the back of the box so checking the SKU is impossible.

Lighting really makes an impact, but it sits so nicely between the blue and green lines it makes it stand on its own strongly. It only looks green when its not next to green bands.

I think the opposite - putting it next to green emphasises the blue and vice versa. Same with the incredibly similar Turquoise and Beryl. I thin I posted before my wife has both and also a jacket and a dress that are beautiful matches with Turquoise and Beryl, but if she swaps the band / clothing combo they just look wrong.

I think putting an in between color with one of the colors it’s between emphasises the difference, not the similarity.

Anyway it’s not a fave of mine, but I seem to struggle to spot when to wear it. My wife has suggested it twice for a shirt that it’s been perfect for and that I haven’t spotted. Maybe I don’t understand it yet.

Not that I’m not loving the convo fodder but this magnetic loop is giving me major plato’s allegory of the cave vibes.

OK, I usually keep up with your (always amusing) analogies, but I had to Google that one.

I’m going to come right out and say I don’t think that is genuine. I could be wrong, and I hear the comments on the detail of the contrast edge and the printing, and I also realise Apple is diversifying production after the wake-up of China shutting down and Vietnam is a (the?) country they are moving into.

My scepticism is simply that that is an un-Apple closure mechanism to my eye. Anybody over the age of five could design that as a simple way to close a watch strap and I think Apple would have ruled it out in the early days. Of course maybe the trick is in the heavy ridging and I’m wrong. I expect we’ll find out if I am soon - and we’ll never be able to say 100% I am right 😀

Flat Silver compared to Pure Platinum, in case anybody is wondering.

Do you (or anyone) have Fog to compare with Flat Silver, just to give me an idea how light the grey is. Right now I have Fog on my SBSS for the first time and it’s a bit light for my taste against the black (though I like it with SS). I suspect Flat Silver is slightly lighter still.

Thanks to all the Cactus pictures, I couldn’t help myself and order one haha. Did send the surf blue loop back- just a little too bland, especially compared to the surf blue band. I feel like the cactus is the same shade of green as on Sunshine loop? I do love sunshine loop a lot.

My collection has grown so big that I physically do not have a desk big enough to lay them out on. Would love to get a wall mounted system, but they get expensive if you don’t already have a 3D printer.

I bought that one, same deal from amazon and absolutely love the color but I just returned it. The Nectarine Loop was shorter than all my other Loops and seemed short on my wrist and just decided to return it even though I did love the color! I like to be 100% happy and the length just bothered too much to justify keeping it.

I did have some time tonight to print out that modem you sent me last night. I’m on the fence on if I prefer this style or the hanging style for the rack I plan on building.

Might be asking some of the regulars here for input. Going to build a rack of 10 slots of each style to mount and compare. More to come.

I was thinking it’s be cool to make one of these that’s 5 bands long, stick the original 5 from release on there (white, pink, blue, green, and black) then just have normal racks for the rest of your bands under there.

ChargerStore finally got a medium cape cod leather loop in again and I bit the bullet. More than I wanted to pay but I justified it to myself by saying it was less than it retailed for, that I’ve been waiting forever for anyone to have it again and now I can sell the large one that’s too big for me. I may have also bought a charcoal gray leather loop and several bands for the rose AW I’m giving my girlfriend as a surprise birthday present. I may be sinking all the money I’m not spending on transit and eating out on bands... Does anyone know if the 38mm midnight blue band ever came with a rose gold pin?

Yes, pretty sure Midnight Blue came in rose gold. Good luck finding one without buying a rose gold S1 or S2 though.

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t paying much attention to the talk about printing racks, but I like that. My wife saw it and said she could do with something like that to help her Hermes double-tours get / keep their shape.

These are very similar indeed. Fog is a little bit warmer.

Thanks for those. The blues are much more how I pictured them when Cornflower is in between.

I actually like Flat Silver more than I thought I would, but as a silver Watch match Rather than black - pretty much as Apple marketed it in fact. I’m not sure about Flat Silver / Volt however.

Is that the same phot of your collection you posts once before when there was a discussion about the agents you use? If so, how many more do you have now?
