Speaking of trolls, for the hell of it I put in an offer yesterday on the astronomically priced sunset leather loop on eBay and it was auto-rejected, which I didn't even know was a thing.
Wow and I thought I was lowballing him at 159 and 160. Granted in a moment of sanity back at the beginning when he had three of them, he listed at 169, so my 159 was reasonable. “Reasonable.” Getting super hard to hold off on just giving him 175 and not waiting for a pumpkin leather loop at $99 that would look even better.

I’m on the opposite, I don’t have cornflower (saw it in store though) but I have denim. So where do we meet up to take the photo?
I think one of our pals not on Western Hemisphere time should have us covered...

I really want the loop but not for $200. I can't stomach paying $200 for a band. Even that Hermès I got yesterday was a purchase for resale. The most I've paid was $125 for a used silver link and about the same for a couple leather loops.

My problem is I have cornflower for my series 4 40mm gold SS... I want the 44 series 6 in September and I’m picking up a few bands in the rare colors as I find them. Guess I’ll have to get cornflower for my next addition to my habit 👍🏻 Thanks

As someone who has watches in both sizes (not sure if you intend to keep your gold)...I can say I regret my old strategy of getting a grail new color in both sizes.

If you like denim, it’s much more fun to just get denim and live with cornflower being limited to your gold. The way Apple so slightly iterates on these tones will always leave you wanting more bandwidth for actual new colors...

Yeah, when listing on eBay you can choose what offers to automatically decline. When I’m feeling evil, I set it to $2-5 below full asking price.

I’ve been away overnight, but yesterday I had a good band day. Dragonfruit, Blue Orbit (for my wife), Ocean Blue and Mist Blue arrived from Chargerstore, ordered on 1st May! I also got Sky Blue which came from the Sunset LL guy.

I’m heading home now so I can open them, so maybe today is a good band day rather than yesterday.

Show us pics! Might give up waiting and buy Dragonfruit when I allow myself to start buying again.

Do any of you sell on Mercari? Wondering if it’s worth the trouble vs posting on here. I’ve never bought or sold there.

Yes, I have bought and sold watch bands on both Mercari and eBay. I get more activity out of Mercari than eBay.
As a seller, Mecari costs less because they don't use PayPal. Once you get paid, you can transfer your funds directly to your checking account w/o any fees.

Question to those in the US that have purchased bands from Chargerstore on eBay - how does the final delivery go here in the states? I have viewed the SpeedPAK number and on their site. It appears that it has reached the US, but I don't see any activity since. I know, probably held up in US Customs. Sorry for being a n00b on this, but am curious. Thanks for any answers/advice anyone can type my way!

Honestly seems like luck of the week. I’ve had orders get delivered within 3 days of getting to the states. I’ve had orders sit at the entry port for 3 weeks. And everything in between. With that said... I’ve never had anything not get delivered. And I’ve probably had 10 or so orders from him so far.

Thanks @toxtrepla, appreciate the education! Who does the final delivery - USPS, UPS, FedEX, DHL? or someone else?

Same experience as @toxtrepla. USPS does last mile anywhere from 3-10 days after sitting at the port. Everything has eventually arrived, though.

Edit: checked my tracking and my recent order just moved from NY to CA 4 days after arriving in port. (Weird how it always says “Port Arrival” when it’s obvious it flew on a plane. No way any shipping vessel is getting across the pacific in less than 24 hours.)

Thanks to both of you! I just got a notice from USPS of a package arriving Monday from a place in California I have never heard of, and I do not remember purchasing anything from anyone in California. So maybe it is my Chargerstore band purchase.

Happened to me the other day on a Midnight Turquoise /Aurora Green Nike sport. I offered £35 for a brand new sealed one, as soon as I put my offer in it was instantly rejected, he was asking £95.
The strange thing is they are still available on the Apple store, so got it from there instead.

I have a duplicate I’ve kept in the box that I’m waiting to sell. It’s a nice color, and I’m thinking it might be one of those that gets discontinued and goes for good resell prices. We’ll see.

I recently ordered bands and I’m in the same boat. Must be a covid hold or something.

You are possibly right. But, I don’t think you would expect to get a high price for it while it is still available on the Apple store for NRP.
