Mike i think youre right with Gen 2 as its definately a more purplish red than an orange red so im really pleased with that outcome. Thanks for your help with that one 🙂
Were you hunting Charcoal Gray? SF Seller has large Charcoal Gray LL (forest MED, cornflower LARGE, cape cod LARGE, stone MED)
I would soooooo have bought cornflower or cape cod if they had had them in medium. Forest is too dark when I already have peacock, which I prefer. Stone I like less than saddle brown, which is on its way.
Wish I had a bigger budget because $72.99 is a great price on a forest green.

You’re spot on. I have both forest and midnight and kinda would trade for peacock. Need to remember to keep an eye out for a gently used ‘cock on the market...I feel like leather in general and leather loops specifically have the highest remorse/burnout/accept low buyer offers turnover...maybe because they do diminish in value like a car driven off the lot. Luckily my bf doesn’t like nylon and was happy to get us a saddle LL with his Ti order.

Now that I have the gray edition, I’m gonna finally polish off this final corner I don’t have completion with. Ordered “stormy gray” from Chargie last night as a reward for finishing some chapters...but smoke is so similar to stone and bright blue to midnight blue and black to storm...and I think I’m getting a decently priced sunset soon 👀🌅. Light brown is a band I got for my dad, which he summarily destroyed at the gym...can’t bring myself to pay for that color again.

Black gen 1 is distinct enough from storm and charcoal that each three has their own use, but black gen 2 is a bust – less black than even charcoal. Bright blue I'm also not interested in. Smoke seems like it's slightly distinct from stone but hard to say. I couldn't find photos of one next to the other.
Yes I’m a huge fan of the new Nike loops. I almost have the whole black box reflective threads collection. I saw you have Smokey Mauve, I’m not quite sure about that one. What’s your input on that one?

I currently use IKEA branded drawers (ALEX) and some dividers which I don’t remember the name of. Got a label maker for the labels, and it works great to store bands and accessories.

Not that you asked my opinion, but I also find mauve pretty uninspiring. Also not that in to celestial teal, TBH. I wish some of the older loops, like the cornflower and cerulean, were reissued, maybe tweaked a bit, and made reflective.
