Yeah, I placed an order at Best Buy for they hyper grape, but they cancelled my order two weeks later. Grrr....
A bit of a deviation from the current discussions on band sales going on but I just got my world indigo/lime blast and I’m super happy! Thank you everyone who shared photos. They were very helpful. I only have one other Nike loop (hyper grape) so I don’t have much to compare to but here are shots of the two plus also to khaki which I was wearing today because why not?

Glad you love it! World Indigo is one of my favorites for sure. Your pics just reminded me how bad I want Hyper Grape. So mad I missed my opportunity from that seller! It’ll be mine one day! Lol
I love it. The green is much more obvious than I was expecting which is a good thing. I watch the YouTube videos by The Juan & Only for first looks at new bands and I usually agree with him but this time I think he sold this one short.

WRT world indigo I have a rule that every band I buy has to be a colour that I absolutely love and for the most part I’ve stuck to that, with a couple of exceptions where I’ve let the thrill of the hunt take over, and I’m happy to say that this band will be a pleasure to wear. I’m still thinking of pink blast but I don’t tend to wear my pink bands too often so I’m holding off. I have a feeling it looks very jewel-toned in real life though, which makes me really want it.
I do agree Juan & Only definitely downplayed this band. He was just not into it. I actually got it shortly after it was released no matter the lack of love given to it. I just had a lot of faith in the color way of the band and when I received it, it instantly became one of my favorites. Juan & Only stated that it reminded him a lot of the Desert Sand/Volt but I have that loop as well and I disagree they’re each very unique in their own way.
Seriously, are we all going to be screwed or what if Apple changes the Watch next year and our bands no longer fit?! I’ll freak.

I went through a period of anxiety about this a while back and I’ve come to terms with it. If they change the band next year, I’m probably going to upgrade to an ss version of the series 6, keep it for a few years and just enjoy my bands. But, I was reading one of apples sustainability reports the other day and they’ve progressively reduced the environmental footprint of the watches. I hope that if they do change the bands, they make it so the existing bands can still be adapted and avoid a lot of eventual waste. Anyway, just my 2 cents. I say just enjoy your bands for as long as they can be used and don’t worry too much about it.
I have to imagine that TPTB know that people collect the bands and that the fact they are interchangeable (and have been since the beginning) is a huge selling point. Even if something were to change in the future, I would think they would come out with some kind of adapter. It's really not the same as getting rid of the headphone jack or the charging port, people didn't purposefully collect tons of cables and chargers of different colors that they routinely swapped out (and even those changes do have adapters, so you can still use older accessories/headphones.) I wouldn't even consider it similar to the changing shape of the phone, because although that does make previous cases obsolete, that was the way from the beginning, so people know going in that their cases mostly likely will not fit upcoming phones.
The bands are so integral, I'd think if that were to change it would be a huge PR nightmare.

hey, i can’t remember if someone has already posted this but i’ve scrolled back quite far and cant find anything. does anyone have a comparison of coastal grey and cocoa. decided which is better given i already have walnut. thanks 
Can I take advantage of the years of experience on here and ask for help with a mystery blue? I ordered 3 ‘Blue’ bands from a used tech outfit (they have a good returns policy, so low risk).
One was a Gen 1 Blue, one was a fake 🤮 and one was the middle band below 🧐. Compared here with Delft on the left and Alaskan on the right (all unused band parts for the best comparison). It’s marked 42mm if that helps date it... any ideas?
