I think the Flash and Lemonade are the brighter ones. I absolutely LOVE my Flash! I saw one on eBay "seller refurbished" for around a retail price.

that is so Spezial, that my opinion is that is the best sign for a original band. The other numbers could fake very easy.

So I went and checked my bands just now. The ones I have bought in box do have them (including sport loops). I bought a green sport band this week; it has the size markings on the back side of the straps, the lugs are color matched, assembled in china stamped on end of s/m strap, and it feels like fluoroelastomer compared to silicone (I do have 2 knock off nike bands so I know how silicone bands feel). However, it does not have the serial on the locking pin. However, the difference is that this band is a 38 instead of the others being a 40. I would hate to think that this is a really good fake.

I've noticed that my older sport bands (42mm) that I've personally purchased from Apple don't have the serial numbers on the locking pins. So my thought is that the pin ss technology came in the later years after the initial AW release.

Turns out a seller on eBay has listings for 40 and 44mm midnight blue loops. Box pictured shows 2nd gen two tone but he just sent me photos of a 38mm first gen. He accepted my $12 offer. “44mm” still available.

Not all genuine bands have serial numbers. I know that the early ones do not. I may be mistaken but I think some of the later ones do not either.

I’m in the same boat. Never heard of this collaboration being anything endorsed by Apple, but that band is definitely made by Apple. The engraving is ever so slightly off center, which doesn’t feel like something Apple would let slide. (Especially with LV)

My guess is maybe a fan-made print or, more likely, LV employee gifts? I’ve seen other bands resold with the same styling, LV branding engraved on the pin one way or another. Where is this listing? In the states?

edit: Wanted to add, it may be the lighting, but that doesn’t necessarily look like any OEM color. It’s too light to be black, yet not quite gray either. (also Gray only came in Black pins?) I can’t think of any 42mm color that matches the in-between. Definitely an interesting band nonetheless.

This band has appeared in this thread already, it was discussed on page 194. Was sold on eBay in the UK, in the photo in the ad is on the table. The strap that I found is sold in Russia and is on the same table, but the photo is lighter. I definitely think this band is not from LV.

Yeah, that’s the serial number. Most bands from 2015-2017 don’t have one, but I guess they switched processes around 2017 because that’s when we started to see serial numbers on the bands. They’re much easier to see on black pin bands, but should be visible on all colors post-2017. It’s a good way to verify authenticity.
