I think I may have answered my own question. Apparently, they only stamp that on one of the bands (the M/L half).

Is that the M/L half? Does the S/M have that stamp too? That picture I posted of my Midnight Turqouise was also directly from Apple.

Mine are all actually stamped on the S/M half. 🤪 It might be that the 38/40mm gets stamped on the smaller half, and the 42/44mm gets it on the larger side?

Yep, you're right. I just checked some of my 38mm and 42mm and that's the case. That Silver/Volt photo above is 42mm S/M on the left and 42mm M/L on the right. All my older 38mm bands are stamped on the S/M one. My 42mm ones are stamped on the M/L one.

Yeah, it’s a tricky thing to figure out, but just that better for authenticating bands!

Why is ultraviolet so expensive? Is it just because it’s the only purple? It doesn’t seem to be as limited stock as, say, Scuba Blue or Vintage Rose. If that’s the case... Hell, I’ll just wait for Apple to release another purple and pick that one up instead.

That’s probably why, it’s a sliver not SB titanium. Love it. All the black/space gray variations are not too different looking from each other I think. Not from a casual glance.

Speaking of summer bands, you get the whole person because the scenery deserves to be seen.. gave one of my favorite loops the day out! Hot pink! I still think I want to get the newer “neon pink” tri-color, once a cheap 44mm shows up 👍 sending out the vibes.

It is the only purple and that has an effect, but it’s also such a vibrant color. Pull up @choreographics‘s chart and your eye is immediately drawn to the UV band. Also, it sold out pretty fast and purple is one of many people’s favorite colors. It’s a combination of factors that create the expensive price point of the band.

It has to be. There’s no way two bands are completely destroyed in this manner. What do you even have to do to get it like this. Did this woman park her car on top of it for a couple days? Or perhaps she bent and then sat on the band every day for a week, permanently changing the shape of the band?
