What seller did this come from? I wonder if it’s the same as that quality fake electric pink @Fhotofaerie had.Ok guys, check this out.. just got a midnight loop sport loop that looked authentic on eBay but the lugs are really bad and the 38mm is like stitched on there kind of crooked. BUT it has the serial number under the connector?! WTF!
Almost just like my electric pink!!! Twins! The lugs are weird, huh?

Did you ever say where this thing came from? We all need to be vigilant now that there are fakes that are this good.
I don’t think they’re fakes, or at least, anything recent. No way a fake would copy a serial, so you guys might have prototypes or production errors. I just can’t see any fakes copying a serial number most people don’t even know exist...

Yes, Samantha. I usually can’t even see the serial on my actual bands 😂 But I’ll try and look.

False call on the serial, it appeared to have some scribbles but definitely not numbers just scratches.
I got it from an eBay seller that had no clue about apple watches. He listed it as a 58mm watch band.
I received it in a second gen midnight blue loop box so it looks like someone a while back bought the second gen, returned a fake first gen and the eBay seller bought it as a wholesale type thing.
He issued me a full refund. This was the first apple watch band he has ever had so I dont think we should worry about him selling them again, he got quite frustrated with it!
But yea the lugs are like metal and not the usual plastic, maybe someone has a real first gen they can post pictures of to compare. I sold one this week to a member here but it was sealed so I never saw it.

Yep. Not sure the origin. Neither did the seller, but she knew it was questionable authenticity. I thought that maybe that just meant she might’ve have not known the color, since it’s not a common one. But yeah, they’re slightly off. The only thing crooked on mine is the Velcro, the size badge is fine. Kind of a bummer. I still have mine, my deal for buying something listed as authenticity unsure. I’ll pawn it off to someone who doesn’t mind.
Well, thanks. You guys had me second guessing my own loops so I went back and checked. All OEM, plastic lugs, with serials.
Though something interesting I found, on the black 42mm the serial is on the side the fabric loops through, though on the Nike 42mm and the CYR 44mm, the serials are on the fixed side. Wonder why that is?

Maybe that particular part of the lug is genuine (though put into the wrong kind of band) and sourced from the same factory that supplies Apple? Then frankensteined together?
If they are 100% fakes, where is this magical/cynical place they come from?!
Maybe it’s just me (or the lightning) but even the colors seem a bit off too. No?
By the way if you’re still looking for an electric pink, Fry’s has it on clearance. I got mine from frys. They also have a bunch of other bands like white stripe and spicy orange loop on deep clearance but their ordering system is so bad you can only order one quantity of each item per order since it comes from individual stores.

Fry’s Electronics is in a weird state. I just recently visited the NASA themed location in south Houston and it was barren. I only saw one employee, and almost no products. Checked the shelf where the watch bands would’ve been and it was all dry. Even the drinks and candy they had in the cafe were all expired.By the way if you’re still looking for an electric pink, Fry’s has it on clearance. I got mine from frys.
