Kind of an IRL concept here, as multiple stripped screws prevents this from realization beyond one lug...def the first modern buckle I would feel comfortable donating the space black hardware to (as perilous as it is disassembling the modern buckle with its very shallow screws)

Does the 42mm sit recessed in the middle? My CYR loop pokes out slightly on my 42mm.

Yeah I guess but the lugs generally have so much play it’s never gonna sit flush, really.
