So, after a small setback, it is done... All retail Woven Nylon bands (plus one non-retail and one... er... 'non-existent')

Nylons.jpg

Some stats: Average price paid is £19.16, cheapest was free, next cheapest was £5. 11 of them were £10 or under. Just over half are boxed, but six of those boxes are plain Demo boxes.

A 2016 Pride would give me a nice neat 12x3 rectangle, filling the shot nicely... Anyone want to sell?

I have 23/35, ~66% there. Would be higher, but black stripe is still lost. I’m patient enough to wait and see if I can find the last few cheap, in-line someone here who shall not be mentioned...

Very impressive shot! Now, Olympics are next I assume?

Thank you for replying :) Do you, or anybody else, know if this is considered a «rare» band these days?
in new condition, I see them average around $25. Not exceedingly rare, but also not common. Blue (1st gen) was the most popular band for the first gen sport models, so there are quite a lot of used ones out there, and very few boxed new ones!

Now, if you had a second gen, it would be worth a bit more. Once the second gen came along, most buyers already had the watch, so not as many people were buying the bands or watches. Both have been long discontinued, so either one new is a great find.

Olymp-what-now? La La La La La La... Sorry, I can't hear you... you're mumbling...

I have chosen to deny the existance of these so-called International bands. It is the only way I can avoid financial ruin... On my @choreographics-based visual checklist, these alleged bands have a big white box over them, rendering them invisible to me - and that is how it will stay. For definite. No taking it back. No siree Bob.

Fine, but don’t come crying to me when you run out of bands to collect!

Swapped my Electric Blue classic buckle with @kitt9000 for his Midnight Blue classic buckle. He suggested black lugs. What do you guys think? I’m liking it.

@athousandbands and @toxtrepla also suggested black lugs on the Red classic buckle. Feeling it as well. Wonder if i should change any of the others.

The black lugs look great on the classic buckles with your ceramic! I may be biased but esp that MN blue looks almost black and matches the black lugs in direct contrast with that white ceramic, very stylish!

Just received Pitch’s Electric blue band and has a nice bright contrast compared to the sapphire blue I’ve been using. Sapphire looks much darker, almost what a slightly brighter version of MN blue would look like In comparison to Electric blue.

Definitely the perfect “Midnight” band. Black lugs should just be standard. Come on, Apple!

I agree, or at least an option for those who are rocking black watches or looking for that storm trooper look with the white ceramics!

New beta and new band for me today! Last band from my recent woven nylon spree is Navy/Tahoe Blue. Really nice shade, especially for spring and summer. Thanks to @kitt9000 for nudging me in this direction over the midnight blue stripe!

Your welcome, glad you picked it up! 👍🏾😀 Looks really nice, esp with that black watch and that bluish, slightly silverish, sheen on the band...definitely a stylish one!

You keep posting pics of that gorgeous white ceramic watch and I keep drooling. Something MUST be done, and I fear I already know what that is. My wallet is already cringing.

Today, the last of my summer bands — Light Violet / White. I like this one more the more I wear it. Sometimes it looks like white on white, sometimes it looks pink-leaning, and sometimes very dilute... well... violet.

Interesting band.

Tomorrow, I guess I’m starting off fall early, even though it’s the Dog Days ‘round here.
