Probably getting a S6... very tempted by the red, which I've always said I'd buy! My space grey S5 is fine for "swapping out" if I need something more understated and my aluminium S4 isn't going anywhere either (resale values suck, wife no longer uses iphone, mom showed no interest in the last apple watch she had and gave up on it after a month)...

All I want to know is how it would look with the SS milanese loop. Damn Apple for limiting the options to the product red ones (I'll probably go for the red sport loop, i didn't like the last one).

Sell the S4 or give it away. Take it from someone who had 3 watches at one point, it was dumb.

I'm regretting not getting a cellular watch last year because I would like to give it to my mom. That way she wouldn't have to remember to take her phone with her in the garden. I want it for fall detection for her. The blood oxygen detection would be good to have in these times tho.

And I've always had the GPS only watch. Won't ever pay extra for monthly cellular watch use, & don't know when I ever wouldn't have my phone...but for that one emergency it'd be worth it. hmmm....

Why don’t the solo bands work with the old style watches?

They work but because the old (S0 to S3) watches are thicker you may have to try a different size of the solo band to have the same fit.

Now that you mention it, I have 2 charges instead of 1. 1 went through and 1 pending.

I contacted Apple about various discrepancies on their website and app, she confirmed that the sapphire crystal still comes on the titanium so I am assuming the ss also. They said they would update the info asap. Also 100% no ceramic - what I thought 😟. Quick question, are apple really ok with returned sport bands/loops after they have been opened?

I think the solo bands will turn out to be better than we currently think. For people looking for an extremely minimalist look who don’t really resell bands I think they would work.

The solo loop bands probably work best for those who hated the mismatch between non-silver cases and pin colors. I wonder whether they'll introduce Nike variants of the solo loop bands too. That'll be pretty cool imo.

When I saw that leak a while ago about the new leather loops, I just presumed it was a joke. I agree that these look terrible.

All these bands (plus that hideous artist watch face) after Jony Ive departs from the company. Coincidence? I think not!

I’m actually quite curious about them - the marketing description of “liquid rubber” is working on me! 😂 Because it’s Apple I’m assuming the feel will be more premium than a cheap silicone band. And while I like the pin and tuck clasp, my wrists are about 5.5 inches in circumference and the clasp gets a bit bulky.

Probably, but under that soft coating it's quite literally a cheap silicone band. I couldn't imagine the materials cost on those is more than a buck or two.

Idk the Artist watch face just feels so un-Apple Watch. It's probably also the least customizable. It literally doesn't support any complications nor is the design user customizable. I guess they included it since the artist has worked with Apple for many years (App Store and Mac Apple Store graphics, WWDC17 graphics, etc.)

Also, I believe the Artist watch face is available to all watches that can run watchOS 7

I guess what you mean by that is hoping they don't replace the Nike sport bands with the solo loop? Because if not, why does it matter whether they choose to release Nike versions of the solo loop? You could still buy the sport bands if the solo loop isn't your cup of tea.

Congrats!! Where’d you find that? Still hoping to find a 40mm under retail one day. Though the Purple Pulse might fill that Hyper Grape hole nicely.

I know I said I was all for it, but I think I'll wait to see IRL pics of purple pulse before I grab one. As you said before, the studio pic looks better than the default pic, but not by much. It’s still not as vibrant as I’d like it to be.

My watch shows up in FedEx but it also says it’s been canceled by sender 🤷🏻‍♀️...anybody else has their’s do that? ☹️
