- One point of clarification on the collection -- am I wrong in remembering a 1st-gen midnight blue classic buckle that was not of the Edition variety -- IE: a midnight blue "mashed potato" classic buckle released in spring 2015 with silver hardware, alongside the 1st gen black? I might be wrong here.

I don't think there was a midnight blue classic buckle, I'm pretty sure those launched with just the brown and black. Though looking at the archive.org page, Apple implies the classic buckle was only available in black at launch.

We’re both rookies in here but I’m actually ok with it!

Just realized the app doesn’t seem to have cargo khaki sport loop, the all one color one. Am I missing something perhaps? Otherwise wonderful app.

Great app! It also confirmed that I officially don‘t have a „problem“ as I‘m still at 2 figures. (99)

Ok, Ginger and Deep Navy Solo Loops came in and now I officially have a „problem“, or actually two of them. First, I‘m at 3 figures now (101) and thus indisputably a watch band addict. Also, while wearing the insanely soft and insanely light and insanely comfortable Ginger Solo Loop I happened to look at the almost-the-same-yellow Canary Sport Band and I asked myself when I would ever wear that again instead ... and the answer is probably NEVER 😲. So am I really going to buy all the dozens of f*ing Solo Loops Apple undoubtedly will release in the next couple of years and sell all my collected Sport Bands that are almost-the-same-colour??? Maybe I should just hope that the Solo Loops stretch out over time and lose their perfect fit; that would give me a good reason to ignore them ...

I’m afraid to try them for this very reason. Might just stick to the bands for my own sake and sanity. Interested to hear how they hold up.

Yeah, don‘t try them. You‘ll save a lot of money. And the regular Sport Bands are still as great as they ever were.

(This was my inner voice just moments before curiosity won.)

Interested to hear how they hold up.

To find out, I will wear both of them several times per week as this is now the most important metric wrt my future band purchases.

Rene Ritchie’s Series 6 review shows the black Leather Link (paired with the red watch), good to see another perspective of the band :) -

I just wanna see it with a Stainless Steel / Titanium Watch (screenshots below are from the above video)

White solo loop just arrived! First thoughts:

-It does feel crazy when you take it out of the packaging. Very light, floppy, and stretchy.
-It makes your watch slightly but noticeably lighter than other bands.
-The smallest solo loops they make for 44mm are size 4. My wrist is 145mm (usually prefer 3rd hole of S/M band), and I could probably use a size 3, but this is fine. I will probably switch to a snugger band for workouts. Maybe I will try it at the gym today and see if it bugs me or has trouble finding my heart rate.
-This size 4 seems to fit about the same as the braided one I tried on.

I'd really like to get my hands on a spicy orange and the orange Hermes sports bands in 44MM. Other than eBay where can I try my luck????

Thanks

Taking a break from app and solo loop talk . . . Today is anchor gray. I really like this watch face too because of the nice matching blue complications courtesy of Calory (the corners and sundial left), Waterminder (subdial right), Healthface (subdial top and text), and the stand ring.

Also feeling good today as I am nearing one year of almost daily running on October 1. I had never consistently run in my life. Now, I’m 40 years old, have run 351 out of the last 360 days, have dropped from 253 lbs to 200 lbs as of today, and feel great. Looking forward to the next year with my new running partner (my Nike S6 on order).

That’s excellent feedback. I’ve started sleeping with my watch and use a sport loop but it bugs me from time to time. These might be nice for sleeping.

Why would you sell them? At 101 it sounds like you’re beyond “I want a good selection of colours” and into going complete.

Geez, this forum needs the ability to mark photos that have disturbing content before displaying them. Now I can never unsee that abomination. I hope I don’t have nightmares.

Well done you! I did something similar about 7 years ago when I restarted cycling and dropped 28kg over a year or so. It’s life changing.
