I was looking back at some Vitamin C pics and noticed that this thread hit 300 pages in 4 years and an additional 300 pages in 4 months
I just went on the app and totally see what you mean. The Celestial Teal is a true blue and Obsidian Mist is more of a light gray violet with hints of green in it but the app does make them seem similar. It also doesn’t do justice for Celestial Teal as you see in my photos how blue it actually is.
Has anyone posted a comparison of Celestial Teal Nike Sport Loop vs the new Obsidian Mist Nike Sport Loop?
I've been on a bit of a spree recently and need to slim down my "wishlist" a little.

Hi - have to agree about this watch band, absolutely love it! Can I ask which Nike Watch face colour you picked? I can’t get one to match exactly? Did you use “total orange”?
In this COVID world, how do you disinfect fabric bands from unknown sources?Just received this in the mail today for $13. Been looking for this one for awhile. The only thing I see wrong is a tiny black spec on the loop. Looks new other than that.
I’m doing happy dance💃

I would try saturating the fabric with rubbing alcohol. In this COVID world, how do you disinfect fabric bands from unknown sources?

Thank you!Hi! Yes, I used the orange. Not exactly "mango" but it appears to match the band pretty well![]()
Thanks! How warm do you usually set your water? Will detergent do if you don't have "woolite" (i'm not in the states)? I literally stopped wearing my sport loops outdoors because it's a pain to wash and dry them after each wear, sport bands are more convenient. But buying bands from local forums/ebay is another thing, sometimes "new but not in box" isn't really new.No, don't do that. A simple washing (just like with your hands) will do the trick. Get a bowl, add a small amount of Woolite, fill with warm water and let it soak for about 15 minutes (you can soak longer and scrub gently with a toothbrush if there are stains). Rinse and dry thoroughly and you're all set.
He starts to list a couple of options and I tell him I’ll take all of them.
Nice! Plum is also one of my top favorites.Managed to yoink a bnib plum sport loop for £25, really pleased with it as i dont usually buy loops, im more a sports band girl. Here it is and i also try to match my wrist bands to my watch strap too, aswell as my clothes lol 😊
Don't think it was a translation error, more likely the seller just randomly named the bands as they no longer have the box, so they just guessed the color. I've found a "surf blue" band that was released in 2015 too.My Nike Obsidian/Black band arrived just now (having difficulty uploading photos) in demo box with the sticker still over the pin. WOO. It's such a nice shade. As expected...
What wasn't expected was that the other box was Delft blue rather than royal blue... I guess that could be a translation error on my part. However, I really like the colour and had nothing else between 1st Gen Blue and Blue cobalt. I'll be keeping it and ending my search for Royal Blue.

Either way it's definitely a good buy for the price. Personally it's my favourite blue out of the ones I have. Mine is still in the box since purchasing it in Ginza. This was still in the demo box... but with the name listed in English. Either I made the mistake, the seller did - or Apple reused a name in Chinese 😂
Price of the band probably means "luxury item" LOL. Best to keep swimming to the sport bands/loops I guess.Went swimming with the Braided Loop..
It was a bit of a reckless thing I should’ve taken more care to think and just swap to a sport band, I just blindly remembered “oh yeah water resistant, fine”, but upon further inspection after, that’s not the same as the “swim proof” the Solo Loop was...
Basically it got really wet to the point where you could squeeze out the water afterwards, it didn’t deform or anything, but it took a noticeably long time afterwards in the sun to dry off. Not to mention any sand that got on the band stuck to it pretty unpleasantly.
basically - I really wouldn’t recommend swimming with the Braided Loop, if you have a Sport Band or even better Solo Loop just make the effort to switch over to that one as they’ve been tried and tested as safe for swimming, lucky I didn’t ruin or otherwise noticeably damage the Braided Loop!
