I'm having a lot of issues with my Nike Pride Band 😓
1) First of all: it's becoming yellowish around the edges. I've tried to wipe it with water, soap, even dishes soap: nothing seems to work. What can I do? I'm afraid if I try a more aggressive soap it will wipe out the holes colors.
2) More urgent: it doesn't fit well with my Series 6. It was fine with my Series 5, a little though to slide in but nothing major. With the Series 6 it's really, really hard to slide in and make it click, and even more hard to take it out. The button become really hard to press and I'm always afraid to get it stuck. Is it something possible? With an OEM band, I mean.
What should I do?
I'm really, really sad. I loved this band, I bought it at full price as soon as it came out on the website, something I rarely do. At least I'm glad I didn't buy a second one to spare, since it's not worth it...too delicate 🥺

It's taking ages to update it to WatchOS7. It arrived not having been reset (but thankfully not locked) and with hindsight maybe I should have tried to get it to pull down the update over WiFi before I reset it - if that's possible without the paired iPhone.
That's pretty normal for a Series 3. It took forever on my old S3 too.

All together now.... "It's rainin' bands...."....

But seriously, I want to send out huge thanks to -

@jamieinoc for being the central hub holding them for me until all the shipments arrived + 2 bands from him
@Pascal70 for getting a couple of the bands sent to Jamie for me
@iChernov for really going crazy overseas with the last big group extravaganza

I truly appreciate everyone's help in getting my collection nearer to completion.

Thank you!

You’re Welcome.
I was actually wondering if they had arrived crossing the Atlantic, but that question’s been answered now.
Enjoy!

I'm afraid there's not much you can do. Weirdly, S6 has some issues with Nike bands. When I got my brand new S6 I could barely fit in the band that came with it - I had to use so much brute force that I was scared to break something. But it seems to me it's getting easier with every band switch.

Thank you. And to think that my brand new series 6 is a Nike Edition! The irony 😆
Thankfully with my other 2 Nike SB (Royal Blue/Black and Blue Black/Mango) seems to work fine. It's just the Pride one. I'll try a few more times to hopefully make it loosen.

Indeed, I got a Smokey Mauve SB that fits without problems. I think this affects only newer Nike SB.

I’m not sure if it’s a S6 problem as such and more of a manufacturing issue with this seasons bands. I have six old season Nike bands that all fit fine in the S6.

But the Obsidian/Mist from this season didn’t fit in my S6 or my old S3.

I’m not a loop user, but I understood the “swimming“ recommendation is to use the loop inside out, so there is no possibility of catching the Velcro end and opening it.

I actually strangely like it, though I didn’t expect to. The colour palette used works well with SBSS and muted band colours.

I assume it happened when the poll changed and the Dopplegangers thread renamed also. Who did that, and why...?

Ah interesting, that makes sense! When I first got my watch, in the store they showed me just "upside down" for swimming but the velcro point makes sense. I don't swim much so my catching was just in day to day life.

Wouldn’t have thought to compare them but they are a nice pair. Nike would slap these on some spandex and call it dark beetroot/active fuchsia or some such. Can never thank Father Tox (PBUH) enough for procuring us retail price D F.

Thank you for the great comparison! Helps me picture plum better in my head as the apple store near me is shut - they are a nice pair.

I'm a bit underwhelmed by the Nike band. there are creases where the previous owner used to fold it (which is the velcro towards the outside...) It's not perfect, but it can be worn. Any ideas on how to reduce those creases? maybe by washing the band?

My daily arrival #yoink

Apologies for the poor photo quality, my ailing iPhone X is my only camera for the time being, until I get myself something that qualifies as a real camera again. Spearmint SL and Teal Tint Nike SL.

Definitely QC issues. The deep navy that came with my S6 originally did not fit and I returned the whole package. Two days ago when I purchased my surf blue sport band the first package I got (and tested on the spot) and got a M/L band that didn’t fit, the pin side fit. Exchanged for another surf blue on the spot and both band parts fit nicely on my S5.

Just wear it! In a couple of days it'll take the crease of YOUR wrist ;)

Big Day today.

A new arrival in the mailbox.

Very happy. I’m now complete with sport loops — both regular and Nike.

And only six days from the UK to Canada. This summer, it was regularly a month or more.

Just in time for Thanksgiving.

Nice! Where did you get it and how can I get one!?
