I have both Gen 1 and 2 but I think this is G2. At least that is how I have it labeled.
It’s probably g2 as it looks more neon. G1 would really match those gloves!

The chart seems to be missing the Nike Sport Loop in Desert Sand/Volt released in... Fall 2019 I believe. I only realized it because I own one.

Ocean, Horizon, Surf - by far the best blue sport bands, in my eyes. Ocean is the winter fit (a hint of frost to it), whereas Horizon is lush for the summer. Surf is an obvious (and great) spring choice.

Thanks for the advice! Trying to stick with just one. I feel like collecting blues is a slippery slope. Going to track down an Ocean and a Horizon (and also found a Cobalt this morning) and see which I like best. For the life of me, I don’t see what all the fuss over Surf is about. But, I do prefer more subdued colors so that’s probably why. Appreciate your thoughts!
If it’s between horizon and ocean, go Ocean — it’s more subdued for sure.. As a result, matches easier (with varying outfits) in my experience!
I'm so excited! Was bidding on a Dragonfruit Sport band from ChargerStore on eBay and didn't win...my personal max was $50 and I was outbid. An hour or two later, I got a second chance offer from the seller, so I'm guessing that whoever outbid me ended up backing out. Yay, I'll finally have my most coveted color!!
Dragonfruit is definitely a color to get excited over. Enjoy it!

When will be the next round for new Bands? Hoping for a yellow braided Solo Loop.
If patterns from past years hold true (not a given in this day and age), new Spring season bands should be released around March. The release may accompany an Apple event if there is one in March this year. Otherwise, they will just appear on the Apple store with or without a press release.

Out of curiosity. Did you own the plum matching sweater before? I hope I am not the only one who sometimes buy tees or shirts to match new band colors. 🤭
Funny you say that. Went to Kohl’s a few days after getting Plum, saw a shirt that I kid you not matched the band perfectly, and came so close to buying it.
I didn’t, though. Was that a mistake?
It’s definitely been a crazy year. As of yesterday, I’ve been on the forums for a year now, almost exclusively participating in this thread. My collection has probably quadrupled in that time. When I joined I remember having only just a few Nike bands, no sport loops, a couple wovens, and about 15 sport bands.
I never would have imagined owning a 2016 USA. I wouldn’t even have known the unreleased Nike bands existed if it wasn’t for the people on these forums. Surely I wouldn’t have known about the app, if it would even exist without all of us here.
Now, let’s hope things improve over 2021. And who knows, Apple may hit the bullseye and give us some proper straight greens and purples.
