With all respect to Fen’s shot, it can be extremely flashy when some light hits it. It‘s the most high-visibility band that side of Vitamin C...while it can be an innocent Easter egg as pictured it also does live up to its name. I still think you should wear it at work. Watch out! Bandaholic coming through!
Apple should just give these out whenever their employees need to wear high vis. Imagine a “Safety Orange” given to employees who take a safety course or something. Bright orange with reflective fluoroelastomer.

Did you wind up getting the red braid ("predbreh" is the nickname I enjoy) as well? It would scream against that backdrop you always use ;)

I can’t help thinking that is still a great price for a boxed used Celestial Teal...

Right? I still would have kept it and just cleaned it. I don’t mind the cleaning so long as it’s a fair price for a used one.
If I didn’t already have one, I’d have maybe kept it. But it was pretty filthy and shiny in places too. So all in all a waste of money for a duplicate, regardless the price.

Had it been the ‘never used’ condition it was supposed to be, I’d have kept it and possibly sold my other one.

Something also about knowing a band was covered in someone else’s dead skin, that would never escape my mind whenever I looked at it, no matter how much bleach I scrubbed it with 😅

I’ m over the moon ! Just bought a Marine Green new for just 20€ 😄
And where did you get that from? 38 or 42?
Anyway a very good deal you made!
I recently purchased an almost unused one in retail box for €15 here in my area.
Sometimes we all need some luck, don’t we?

You're back! And you got your Rose Red :)

Glad to see you found a rose red.
Thanks! A long search!

It's on my wantlist! They look great, still feeling out the braided loop style. Love it so far, but want to see how much it stretches out & holds up over time.

I don’t have it so I’ll scrub it with a toothbrush and soak it in dawn dish detergent and repeat until clean even if it takes awhile
I don’t know why but I just can’t bring myself to wear a band that I’ve seen filthy. Its the same as wearing someone else’s dirty underwear in my head...it’s a problem I have 😅 all of my bands bar one have been as new, and I still shudder when I look at the one that wasn’t. And it wasn’t even particularly dirty 🙈

You should have seen a stainless link I had a while back from a second hand shop here in the U.K. It was so gunked up with dirt/dead skin that the release mechanisms didn’t work and chunks of dirt were actually floating in the water when I cleaned it. I got the thing literally looking like brand new but I still had to sell it because I knew ‘the truth’ 🙊🤣

I would have so bought it too.

I have a friend that moderates a group on Facebook with your same attitude about the bands. He sold me a band for a $1 plus shipping because it was shiny....

I came from a rather poor community and I am so used to getting second hand I know what to do to make something like new again. So I don’t mind a used band since it will clean. Soaking in alcohol works wonders for the nastiness some of these bring

Agreed. Flash is almost or even slightly neon. Lemonade is more wearable IMO.

Me too 🤮

so after some recent sales and now a trade for a Gold SS S4, I'm back down to double digits. 95 bands total. So I guess I'm on the lookout for 5 new ones to add, including a gold Milanese Loop (S4 gold, not S6 gold)

Any goldSS owners got some killer band combos?

For the average AW owner, I’d say the concern might be warranted. On the flip side, I think folks who change bands out even half as often as we do are unlikely to see any change over time. So little on-wrist time, with so much recovery time

If you’ve accepted the objective truth that red g1 is the best red, then you must submit and get yourself predbreh pronto

Mine was a fingerprint magnet too at first, now I either don’t notice it or it’s gotten better! Enjoy.
I’m telling you. The two sport bands I’ve bought of this release cycle feel totally different. More plasticy and more heavy duty. Hard to describe. Where my surf blue feels more rubbery. All over the board with these bands.

Which is odd because I just tried to make a finger mark on my plum band and it won’t take at all. Perhaps I am intraceable...
