This ^^^ means I won't be replying further.
Okay, go ahead and pick apart what I said and try to insinuate that I mean something awful once again. Go for it. You're trying to imply that I'm making racist remarks when my original question this afternoon was one asking black members for their insight on what they felt about white people wearing this band to make sure they were comfortable with it.

I'm probably the most liberal person you'll ever meet, and I've been an activist for many years for people of color in Baltimore. You live in New Zealand, and you think you know more than me about poverty and race in my own community? It's a well known (and sad) fact that poverty plagues communities of color worse than whites and that this country and capitalism as a whole has failed those communities.

I know most people here can afford anything Apple makes, but that's not the reality for many. It's not normal for many people to pay $50 for watch band. I'm trying to let you know that if Apple cared about making these watch bands accessible to all, including low income communities of color, they would not be selling them for $50 and making a huge profit.

OK, I apologise, perhaps I read that differently to how it was intended.

Beyond that I won't respond further as I have no interest in becoming involved in an argument especially about something that is intended to do some good and that we both support.

Are you also getting it from a weird third party Deliver-It? They brought my winter non-Plums...some guy in a car, gotta love Apple’s dedication to getting ship done!
Yes, when I clicked on the tracking number, I was expecting to be redirected to FedEx or UPS. I was like WTH is this company???

I got my winter bands from Deliver-It right before Christmas when FedEx and UPS put a pause on big clients...that made sense. This must mean they’re pushing a lot of Unity bands! Or maybe vaccine deliveries are using capacity.

Do you know if they are just a local SoCal delivery company or nationwide? I have never heard of them before.

They appear to be a heinous gigging company. Probably not much further than CA/AZ/NV. I’m guessing it’s the Uber/Amazon model where they just want subcontractors. I’ll bet you a pride ‘21 the people that bring our bands tomorrow are paying for their own car repairs and healthcare. Lucky them for the fuel discount they might get.

Growing up outside California, I always got the sense that the state was living in the future. It set standards for better life and governance that trickled across the country by sheer will and progress. Fuel economy, no one drinks soda...now it’s clearly working the inverse. Prop 22 is about to spread like wildfire...

It's a grey, gray, day. Dark grey edition on SS

Dang that looks brand new! How did you score that? I have never understood why Apple had these 2-color bands for the S3 ceramic since it is basically impossible to see the second color. Really nice shade of grey though!

What bands ya'll wearing on this frigid day?

I had Hyper Grape loop on for sleep, blue braided now during the day.
SB Link bracelet for me this morning (feeling fancy I guess). Have a dark grey SBTi sport band arriving later though and I suspect it will be on my watch shortly after!

Here you go! About $52 USD, it’s from UK.

Oh wow! Don’t need that band but that’s a crazy good price for a bundled exclusive band.

Is that a genuine band? The one that @geekiemac has in those photos?

Yep, as @mikedop and @JBlass421 confirmed. It's where I got mine.
