Woah that looks nicer than I thought

Regardless of whether next week’s release is exactly what I have or not, I expect the hero shot to be exceptionally neutral and not enticing.

Even the flat photo comparisons I do make it tough to gauge. You gotta get it on the wrist and turn and let it catch the light and get down into the goo, or at least look at the bands laid out from different angles.

Very uncharacteristically I took it out on my dog walk before sunset immediately after getting it and I couldn’t stop looking at the glow. Texture wise it is very much that series 6 dry slippery feel. Truly torn on whether I should just get the solo loop anyway, as planned before today.

this was the color that made be start collecting all the other sport band colors.... granted i started back in ~2017. luckily i got it pretty early! im up to 200 bands now

Do you know if cocoa was ever available with a space grey or silver pin.

Love the colour, but I fear the gold pin would be quite noticeable on my SG case.

It came with a silver pin when purchased separately. The only way to get it with a gold pin was to buy it bundled with a watch. Never came with a space gray pin.

If you want a similar band for your SG, look around eBay for a 2017 Gray sport band (marked just “Gray” on the packaging). It’s not as brown as Cocoa, but does still have a bit of brown in it. And it is one of the few sport bands that has a black pin instead of silver.

Like the papaya sport band, it seems like they took a sample from inside the skin, like halfway from that color to the full color of the fruit

Cocoa is a little deeper and more brown, but yeah very similar.

I really like Baltic Blue. I know there are a ton of blues for both Leather and Silicone, but this one looks really low key, isn’t almost black like Midnight Blue leather, otherwise looks pretty rich and in sunlight it has a very subtle slight green tinge that I love.

If I had the iPhone 12, I would without a doubt get the matching iPhone Leather Case.

Those new leaks kinda do nothing for me. Mustard yellow looks a lot like the OG yellow (which I very rarely wear) and do we really need a light blue squeezed in between Sky Blue and Lilac? One for the noobs, I guess. Capri is still pretty, though. 😊

I don't think the yellow and and light blue are new colors, they're probably the iPhone case versions of ginger and northern blue. The sport bands usually have matching iPhone case colors and we don't have a ginger and northern blue case yet.

I’m not sure. Not shooting down your idea at all, but unfortunately there is precedent for Apple to release certain Sport Band colours that never actually make it into the iPhone Silicone Case lineup. It’s only a select few, but they definitely exist. Couple of examples would be Coastal Grey and Khaki - both released as Apple Watch Sport Bands during the S5’s time, but were never released as iPhone silicone cases. The reason why, don’t know. I suspect the same has happened here with Ginger and Northern Blue.
