I just got my SS S4 44mm yesterday and was thinking of getting the leather loop. I'm not sure which size to get and was likely going to just order for delivery vs having to drive to the apple store to try them on. Medium says 150-185 mm wrists. My 44mm sport band fits on the 3rd hole from the top part where the band connects to the watch. I'm thinking medium would be the right size.

On Sport bands for me I wear them not too tight, on the 4th hole from the end (so the pin goes in the 4th hole and I can see 3 holes in the band). The same kind of tightness on the Large Leather Loop gets me here, which is where I think it should be. When I tried on the Medium the end part of the loop was under half way around my wrist.

I hope it helps.

That helps. I also prefer the loop to end up in that similar location and not halfway below the wrist so looks like large is the safer choice.

My wrist is 6.5". The medium works for me. I can get the band over my hand with about a half inch of band left before it slips out of the small band.

So I bought one of these strap cases from Amazon when I had about 2 Sport Bands, now 12 months later after constantly checking eBay and Facebook Market on a daily basis I have about 25 (some not shown here) and a Series 3 Edition.

Do you have a link to this case to buy on Amazon?

check the @stroughtonsmith user on twitter - he is the author of this overall idea and concept.

I love the stuff this guy has done.

Is it easy to download and install his faces onto the watch? What does one need to do it?

It‘s almost funny how Apple will release ever new shades of blue and red, no matter how incredibly close they may be to earlier bands (Nectarine/Apricot, Horizon/Cobalt), yet absolutely refuses to release a nice, darker green sport band …
That would be more of a fall color, i am
A little shocked they don’t have an army green color out tbh. I’ve met a lot of people who like army green.

Hi there - sorry if this has already been answered, it may have been but I couldn't find it in this thread (I skimmed over the 91 pages too quickly).

Is there a difference between the feel and thickness between earlier models of the sport band and the later models? I had a midnight blue sport band from 2015 a long time ago and I swear the black one I got with the series 4 feels slightly more comfy.

Did the sport bands change? If so, when did they "change"?

New and just opened bands are always softer than the ones used for a long time...

Oh yes I get that. And same with the silicone iPhone covers. But have there been any physical changes over the various generations of sport bands or are they the same?

I've heard people say the black band in particular has a slightly different feel than the other ones, but I don't own a black one of any generation so I can't verify anything.
