Is the blue in the Russia band the same blue as in the Italy band?

In the renders it looks like it but I need to be sure …
Close enough that you shouldn’t make your decision based on the blue. Unedited here because photos also sucking the life out of these blues. Should prob just abandon ProRAW for anything that looks like Capri lol.

Great picture, thanks! I loved the Italy blue in another member‘s picture but would rather have a band with white lugs, so Russia it is! (and Denmark, too)

Can’t go wrong with Russia/GBR look. Kind of a retro future chic. Tarkovsky’s Solaris? Perhaps fully completing the NASA speedmaster aesthetic. I’m close to actually wearing some of them. Not worried about dirt anymore, I just want to get all the pictures I can before they get ripply lol.

Reading my mind here! 😉 After abandoning my one-watch-only rule, and seeing all the gorgeous Ceramic shots, I‘m very sure there‘ll be a white Watch in my future. And sci-fi retro chic is right up my alley.

Hard to hold back for sure. I will not open these until I actually have the white Watch, though. Crossing my fingers for a svelte white S7 … that boxy look should set the retro-future-meter to max. 🤩

I think my current hot take prediction for the s7 line-up is: 5-7 aluminum colors, silver/gold/graphite steel, hermes (give or take noir).

I would buy that titanium is a Jony holdover to be disappeared. But maybe Tim likes the bump in ASP of the Edition.

Just imagine aluminum watches like the iMac 24s, each with their own pin-free solo loop!

I fear that you may be right.

Don‘t get me wrong, I think that line-up would sell extremely well, especially the aluminum rainbow. But I don‘t know what would be in it for me … No white Watch, no Ti … silver (and gold) steel too actual-mirror-like with the straight edges … dark Watches a no-go for me … and those pastel aluminum colors just not neutral/versatile enough for a compulsive strap collector/exchanger. Gotta wait and see, I guess … ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Glad it’s not just me that doesn’t want to wear new bands until I’ve taken some photos of them 😅

Same. The only finish I don’t have that I’m interested in is Ti. If that’s gone, and Ceramic is gone, my S6’s will tide me over for a couple years yet!

I fear if that’s the case I will have to go out and purchase an S6 Ti. I love the look of the Titanium too much an a new Ceramic would just be too expensive. However if S7 does come in Titanium I will keep my S5 for another go-round.

That’d be my approach too. S6 Ti. They’ll end up becoming the new S5 Ceramic!

My wife is not into bands. She's been wearing variations of Red sport, and sport loop bands since she got her first S0.
However, I told her to pick out a band from the International Collection, and I'd buy it for her. She chose South Africa. This will be her first band that is not fully red, and she's been wearing Apple Watches since the original launch.
Of course, I'll slip in a Jamaica band for me on that order. ;)

How do people here keep their bands clean? I wear black most of the time because anything not gets pretty gross looking over time. I see people here talking about their red bands from years ago. I am on my 4th one now because the previous three start to turn. I’m assuming it is from the dye from my jeans pockets, but I don’t get how to get around that. And I can never figure out how to get it off the band either. Any suggestions?

On the new bands, got the US one. My first sport loop. Like the look and the feel is taking some getting used to (usually wear the sport bands or leather) but even that is growing on me quickly.

Really liking the shade of navy blue on the USA band. Would honestly like a whole sport loop in that color!

Two questions for @athousandbands (or anyone else who knows):
  • Do the USA and GB bands use the same shade of navy?
  • How does the USA navy compare to Deep Navy and Abyss?
Unedited…I think USA and GBR are darn close and Abyss is with them but maybe slightly desaturated. DN less saturated and probably more purple while the first three remind me of Blue Horizon.

Oh and Abyss and Sunflower do not quite match with their brown rails. Both are slight tweaks on Khaki, too green to be Coastal Gray, not green enough to be Olive, if that’s indeed what Red4 has.

Oooh I might need Abyss now. Thank you for taking the time to post a comparison shot!

It’s an awesome band!

After being unsure and resisting for months I finally ordered one from our favorite ebay merchant.

You guys and girls are a bad influence. 😉

I’ll have to get one then. Thanks.
And here it is. Like Italy it isn't exactly my style but where Italy is really in your face bright Greece is beautifully not. Add that to the fact that Greece is a country important to me and I'm definitely happy to have it.

Such a beach / pool side type of look - very cool. And nice pics!

Sport bands. Everything I've seen online says that soap and water should take care of it, but I haven't had that work once yet. I've had some success with a white eraser, but that also seems to peel off whatever Apple uses to add some luster to the bands.
