Yep the Space Black cleaned up this release. I wish the Vert/Noir had come with silver hardware.CAD (+HST) really exacerbates the MSRP, but these will be worth it. SBSS FTW.

That's a very subjective point of view.
I like that we have so many options to pick from![]()
Remember when we didn’t feed the trolls
Def only Mike 😙Yeah, sure. All opinions regarding comfort, colour etc. are inherently subjective.
Exactly.
I‘m the troll now? And not your pal Mike, casually degrading all those who love the Solos?
I knowI still can’t believe they only released one Nike band yesterday.

I mean, it happens. You can still order it as a “replacement part” Through support though. It’s just an extra $6 or so for shipping.Something else I don‘t think is mentioned so far - many of the Fall 2021 bands have actually been discontinued. All the Braided Solo Loops and Sport Loops from that specific season have been pulled from the store altogether.
So on Apples website, you can’t order a Braided Solo Loop in Dark Cherry, Maize or English Lavender anymore and same for any of the Sport Loops from the same season. All gone
UPDATE - several of the Sport Band and Solo Loops are gone too
Yeah I wish they were a little more forgiving but I think they just couldn’t agree on a color set. Apple and Nike need to redo their contract. And they discontinued the Climson Bliss and the Chlorine Blue...so, right now, the Nike sport band section is so SAD. Depressing, even. Not spring-y at all. I was so hoping fot a bright yellow Nike SBInstead we got still one more yellow regular Sport Band.
How is the process there? I need a S/M Nike Mango where the S/M part is damaged. I've already ordered one from Charger, but if it were actually possible to buy a replacement from Apple that way...I mean, it happens. I miss the old Nike sport loops the most. If you did miss out on one of these bands that you still want to get, try seeing if a local Apple store still has it in stock. I picked up an English Lavender solo loop yesterday after it was pulled from the website. I was waiting to see what new colors they'd release before getting that one, since none of the new solos interest me, I ran over to the store and got one they still had on hand.Something else I don‘t think is mentioned so far - many of the Fall 2021 bands have actually been discontinued. Call or chat with Apple Support. Give them your Watch’s serial number, ask to set up a DIY Repair. Tell them your band is damaged and you need to buy a replacement. If they try to send you to sales, don’t let them, because sales won’t be able to sell a discontinued band. They’ll be able to pull up a Blue Black/Bright Mango (that’s the one you need right?) as a “replacement part” and will sell it to you for retail price plus about $6 shipping. It’ll arrive in a plain white box but it’ll be a brand new band. How is the process there? I need a S/M Nike Mango where the S/M part is damaged. Overall, this release was so disappointing. The Sport loops with the half color stripes are awkward along with the color choices used. The annual pale washed out blue sport band is back for another round. How about a cyan color for once? No new leather loops. I do like the greens but I already have the OG green and Spearmint. Hopefully they pull it together for the June release.
Great. Thanks very much. I will try that 👍🏻Call or chat with Apple Support. Give them your Watch’s serial number, ask to set up a DIY Repair. This process also works with Hermès Sport Bands, but you have to have an Hermès watch. Their replacement parts system actually has quite a lot of discontinued colors, like Red Raspberry and Pollen. Everything from Classic Buckles to 18kt Gold Pin Edition Sport Bands (only $5,000!)
Just don’t overuse this system, it’s not intended to be used to buy old bands and they can track how often you do it. Anything more than once every couple months will raise suspicion and could get you banned from the system.Great. Thanks very much. I will try that 👍🏻
And compared to the Sport Band the Solo Loops are overpriced for what you get in my opinion. A price tag of 29 or 39 instead of 49 would be more suitable. That's a very subjective point of view. I find them creepy It starts with the fact that I don't like not being able to adjust the band if necessary. I know many who don't buy solo loops for this very reason. Apart from that, there were enough watch manufacturers with similarly comfortable bracelets and at the same time more functionality. As an example here only the first generation of the Pop Swatch models from Swatch. And unlike the Apple Solo Loops, they didn't look like Wish or AliExpress…
Yeah there’s not even any hardware lolAnd compared to the Sport Band the Solo Loops are overpriced for what you get in my opinion. A price tag of 29 or 39 instead of 49 would be more suitable.
