I'm 16 and I work an online job for Daybreak Direct, inc. I design software interfaces, design graphics, and a few other things. I am paid $2,000/month in the summer months and $500/month during school (due to the decrease in the amount of work).

A 15" PB Combo a Month!

16, Self Employeed.

I run Freelancer Productions, the only high-def production company in our area. I've done video production for a number of local and national clients, including Frito-Lay.

I also worked for our local FOX affiliate for a while, and after they got rid of more than half the news team (myself included), I moved over to Channel 2 News, where I currently anchor as well as report. (link)

Your an anchor too???

i'm 18 and i just started working the campus computer store, which carries a full selection of apple stuff, execpt displays, but you can order tham still. employee discount means everythings at cost, which is the best perk i've ever had. before this i worked at a grocery store for 4 years, every department. i'm also started college next week so no 30k salary, more like tuition, books, food, rent, maybe a mighty mouse for a salary.

I'm 16 and I am a personal educational assistant (a tutor). That makes pretty good money. I did it 10 hours a week for the last 9 weeks of school last year charging $25. Do the math on that one.

But I also sold fireworks for a guy who makes fake teeth. That was really interesting. Especially because the area I was in (I sold out of a party tent type thing) was on the edge of the slum of my city. So yeah....great memories about that one.
Best part of that job -- $100 in fireworks.
Worst part -- Highs in the 100's for 4 days straight.

When I was 16, I was a secretary-type thing. I had some fancy (read: BS) position. I fixed windows machines, updated the website, and cleaned the closet.
I was there 4 hrs a day, 5 days a week, at $10/hr.
I made $2k that summer,

then I blew (almost all of) it on an iBook.
and upgrades
and accessories
and iPod. :p

Now, my job is currently... unemployed?
Music student sounds so much better, though.

I'm ..uh..
A musician who will be going on a performance tour of central Europe, more specifically Vienna, Salzburg, and Prague.

oh-emm-GEE! That sounds fantastically fancy. I think I'll use that!!

/I'm doing a fund-raiser if anyone wants to buy magazine subscriptions, HA!

I'm an intern at a land surveying company called "S.J. Martenet." I work alongside the Maryland State Archives to scan old documents (mostly old land surveys) into the computer, clean each image to make them easier to read, and organize the origional documents in "clam shells," that are later sent off to the archives for temperature controlled storage. I like everybody I work with, and the pay is excellant (8.00 an hour, 8 hours a day).

I'm only 15, BTW.

Hey all
Im 17. I work at a resturant called Kelseys in the kitchen which I think is only a canadian franchise. Its like applebees or Fridays.

When I was seventeen I started working at a web design firm doing ASP.NET development. I make interfaces for web apps and do a lot of database stuff. I work full-time during the summer and part-time from school.

Heh...job...uh....

I don't have a job. Not really. I mow the neighbors lawn (pretty easy to do actually, and pays well). I have a little hosting business of which after server costs I make almost nothing, but it's fun and I kinda like it. I'd like to expand but I'm not a great advertiser. I'm perfectly happy with my existing clients though. I do some web development for friends/random people.

Nothing that pays too high, but it's fun at least. I would really like to ask one of our local "windows only" computer centers if they would like someone who does Macs, too. That would be cool, but I think it's kinda rude to ask that.

I'm 14 and I tutor 4-5 kids over the course of the week (During the summer months of course), being paid $70-$100 Hong Kong Dollars (9-13 USD) an hour. Ill probably drop a few when school starts!

Oh, and I saved up for my own setup, it took QUITE some time! :)

I am 18,5 years old.

Well, I'm in a difficult position in order to work right now. I study for my university. When I don't I just save money for my next buy. Every year I buy something new with money that I was saving for the last 12 months.

This is my mac setup and I feel very proud of it. I wanted a new computer, because I just couldn't share the iMac G4 with my father, we often ended up fighting about it. So, I wanted a new computer.

I knew my parents hadn't any money to buy me a new one, but even if they did, I wouldn't ask it. So, I decided to work in a carpet industry for some months. My job was to carry carpets on and off trucks and then cut them into the right size for the customers...

Luckily for me, the company needed someone desperately, so I ended up working approx. 15 hours a day, even in saturdays. Of course, I was being payed extra.

So, after a few months I had gathered 3500 euros and many congratulations from the company for my hard work. Apparently, I was the only one who worked so hard at this age in such a difficult job.

My reward was a Dual G5 2.5GHz with ATI 9500 and 1GBytes RAM, a stereo system, and a paper that shows that I have worked again in my life... It may come in handy afterwards.

Of course, my future proffession will not have to do anything with carrying carpets... But I really don't care. I did what I had to do, and this is what I have come up with. A fast computer, a stereo system, and some great muscle!

I'm a bagger boy (girl) at the local super market. 40 bucks a week. Which sucks but its something.

How many hours do you work? According to my (er....my iBook's calculator's ;) ) calculations--if you're working more than 7.766990291262 hours a week--you're at less than minimum wage.

Though that's based on Michigan's minimum wage, I'm not quite sure where you're at...

Anyway--hope they're not overworking you too much!

I've applied for a job at ASDA (Walmart is the parent company of this UK supermarket).

I've been for an interview and group selection thing. I will be hearing if I got the job today or tomorrow!

This job is part time for me going to uni. If I get it I will be paid £5.44/$9.83 an hour.

I'm 14, I do a paper round, and work in the ICT department of a school, for £5 an hour. I usually make between the two of them £50 or so a week, more during the holidays :D

for a teenager, you can find great money for a summer or part time job in manual labor. but to do that for a living isn't a very good job. it pays welll at your age but won't look good for the long run. the work is tough but i think its worth it.

this summer i worked in a galvanizing plant (coating steel with zinc to prevent rust) and i did a lot of heavy lifting. i liked it though. it was like a whole days workout and you get paid great for it

I turned 14 just over a month ago, I do PC repairs and custom building (but am willing to do Mac business :D), and I make anywhere between £0 and £1500 a month. This is the end of the boom season, as parents need computers for Little Timmy to do his school work on :p

I'm at Florida, I really dont work that much just 5 hours a week! During the summer I worked around 7 or sometimes 8. Next summer I'll probably not do this anymore, I'm trying to get my own business up and running.

As soon as I could drive....my dad bought me a cheap car and told me to find a job. Worked at a frozen yogurt place in the mall. I was the only guy working with a staff of about 15 girls. Good odds for me. On the weekends I didn't work, I go down to this place called the Old Market and play my horn on the street corner. Easy $40 a night.
