My first job was unfortunately at McDonalds. I would not recommend it to anybody. Worst job ever. When I was 16, I got a job at a gas station, and worked there 2 years. I quit that a couple months ago, and got a job with the United State Postal Service. That job was awesome. All I did was type zip codes and street addresses.

Unfortunately, college came around and I had to quit since they weren't flexible. Now I'm jobless and looking.

I'd like to intern for someone in the video or music industry.....which I might next summer, depending on connections.

I'd work at the Apple Store, but I heard you had to be 18 to work there.

For those of you that sell on eBay for people, CompUser/etc, how did you get your name out there? Do people in your neighborhood just know you love computers and ask or do you advertise? I am thinking about trying to do that around here to make some money; just not sure how to get started.

Thanks, Kevin.

I don't really know how I got my name out. I just did it once cause the lady didn't know how to use eBay.

Yeah, Im 17 and I need a job to support my Apple addiction amoung other things.

I'm 17 and I work for my family's moving company. Not a bad job, the warehouse is 2 minutes from my house so when my dad calls I go and let the trucks in/out.. I'm there for 15 minutes and I get paid for an hour. Works out pretty good.. I usually end up getting about $200 a week for maybe 12-15 hours of physically being there. Kinda sucks when I'm hanging out with my friends that I have to take off.. but I'm only gone for 20 minutes or so and it sure as hell beats saying "Nah, I gotta work today" when I'm asked to go somewhere. I also did web design for awhile, but Craig's List turned into crap, so I got a job at Stop n Shop for 2 months but got bored real quick and started working for my dad at the beginning of the summer and I've been doing that since. I also do a ton of video production through my school, and usually I get 2 paying jobs per month which is like $100 or $200 to pay my car insurance with.

Right now I am unemployed, and I don't really mind. I have school, soccer, and socialization that I have to do.
