I see some people saying it was a boring event ... however, this year I am ordering more Apple products than the previous year ... the iPhone 16, the Apple Watch 10, and the AirPods 4(ANC).

It happens. If they don’t work for you, I say move on and leave them behind. I would rather you or anyone else make that decision rather than feeling the need to vent here after every announcement. At the same time I’m not against holding them accountable. However, Apple has transitioned into a Toyota type brand. You go to them for stability and reliability. They aren’t going to have the newest capabilities as soon as they are available or when you feel they should have them. They take their time and bring capabilities to market when they feel they have a handle on it and can incorporate them into their ecosystem meaningfully.
Don’t ask current Tundra owners about their engine reliability. 😳

Apparently they’re driving it wrong.

Everything Significant Apple Announced at Today's Event in 0 Minutes: .

I have come to the conclusion that a lot of people here don’t have apple phones. I think they just made an account so they can be negative for anything apple does.
Alternative- lots of us do, and see no reason to upgrade since there really isn't anything to be that excited about.

Also, at least in my case, we're shareholders and want to see apple innovating, and leading like they used to. Now they're getting bested on multiple fronts. I am looking the new Samsung phones- at least they seem to be doing something other than a color change and a few megapixels (that really don't matter) here and there.

What a joke. Apple really pushing their lazy incrementalism with these minimal annual updates.

AW S10 is thinner with a bigger screen — great! But no new health sensors and SpO2 not resolved? And what’s with the hideous large bezels? For the Ultra, last year’s model gets a new color and some hideous Hermes bands. Come on…

The 4-year-old AirPods Max got a port update and… that’s it.

iPhones’ RAM and cameras are behind the Pixel Pro 9. But hey, the A18 “challenges latest desktop processors” so you can load TikTok filters faster, I guess? And boy are they pushing AI as the next big thing with iPhone to fill up time.

Don’t worry though: everything’s carbon neutral!!!!!!
Totally agree ... and no design innovation. Apple is sitting on their fat wallet. Steve Jobs would have kicked some serious @ss to get the designer back on track to come up with something a bit more interesting.

I just read an article a day ago that stated you can plan on android phones adopting apples new dedicated camera control button. There are always innovations the issue is if a particular consumer see them as one or not. Apple has had some dry years. I think 14 was the worst of recent memory. However, imo this phone has a LOT to offer and like. I’m looking forward to the new features. I say again, a lot of people need to bite the bullet, move to android, and enjoy that experience. 🤷🏾‍♂️✌🏾

I’ve heard the issues, I will say I know multiple current gen tundra owners that haven’t had an issue. Hopefully that isn’t a long term thing.
Fortunately or unfortunately, it's something that doesn't show up right away. For whatever reason they left machining debris in about 100K '22 and '23 Tundra and Lexus LX engines. Almost impossible to believe considering Toyota's background, but everyone has a bad day/couple of years. 😉

We're considering a new 4Runner, but I think we'll wait a year to see how those go.

I know right? That trivial 6.9 inch phablet with an A18 chipset that rivals M2 in single core benchmarks and sits just shy of it in multi core? Plus with onboard Open AI-sourced intelligence features that are already showing some impressive integrations but haven’t even been fully-implemented yet to shrug aside? Plus four more hours of video playback and 10 more for audio, along with 40 watt wired charging and 30 watt inductive?

A camera with quadruple resolution ultra wide angle capabilities compared to its predecessor, able to shoot in 4K Dolby Vision at 120 fps along with capturing photos and videos in 3D? A photo app that allows you to search for pictures from which you can only recall a couple of arcane, fuzzy details and haven’t been able to find for months, plus a smart feature that allows you to seamlessly remove elements natively that you can add back later? A new camera control button that finally turns your phone into a quick shot pro-grade camera?

Oh and if you have one of those negligible smart watches this dinosaur of a tech company produces you can add add the ability to perform a veritable sleep apnea analysis on top of all the other health metrics it offers?

You’re SO spot on. *yawn*.

This was probably the most disappointing keynote that I remember.
Don’t blame Apple, blame this website for posting so many thousands of “leaks” reiterating the same content day after day that it would take an 11th hour teleportation feature to create any anticipation or excitement whatsoever.
