Like I said before, they would have had to add the magnetic charging system into the iPad and that would have cost money. I would almost put money on that being the reasoning behind the Apple Pencil 1 still being used with this iPad.
^This. But then people would have to understand the economics of product development, and then couldn’t come here and complain.
 
Been wanting to replace my 2015 mini for about a year now and was really hoping for an M2 mini announcement but Maybe Apple is thinking that an M2 mini could cannibalize mac studio sales, especially as options are added. October isn't over but my hopes have been kind of dashed. The price on the TV looks decent but I have the previous model so don't "need" that. I'm not a pad user so those releases don't mean much to me.
I wouldn’t hold out for a new mini. It seems like Apple wants to let that go.

SAME. I was looking to upgrade to an M2 chip mini. But I don't need a studio mini. It's way overpriced.
 
Wanted an iPad Pro but I think I'll wait for next year's models as undoubtedly they'll be much better than these poor increments
